Iran-Syria presidents exchange views on the phone

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a telephone conversation felicitated President Bashar al-Assad on his reelection as the president of Syria.
According to the Presidential Office Media Department report on Saturday evening, President Ahmadinejad told his Syrian counterpart that his victory belongs to the freedom seeking nations and added the enemies cannot do anything in confrontation with vigilant nations.
President Assad, for his part, appreciated Iran's support, especially the support of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei of Syrian nation and added coordination between Iran and Syria in confrontation with the Zionist regime and the USA can bear better results in the future.He also appreciated Foreign Minister Mottaki's visit to Syria in current situation.
