It's getting light, the dew is glistening,
I hear a bird's sweet song he's whistlling
The little babes all scamp about,
Enjoying life there is no doubt.
All this beauty speaks to me
My heart is full of love, you see
For the One who made these creatures small,
As I ponder I then see the Ball,
Golden sphere, its light is shining,
Sending heat through rays that are gliding,
Down to earth to warm us all,
Message of love, do you hear its call?
The sun is but a sign, you see
Of what the Saviour's done for me
No temporal thing could touch my life,
Or be a williing Sacrifice.
But in Him I find warmth and love,
A home prepared in Heaven above,
In His Cross we all must share,
Who've partaken of forgiveness there,
And though we struggle, we journey on,
Until our work on Earth is done.
