Hello all - Thought I'd introduce myself a little bit.
I'm an American currently living in Beijing as an English teacher. I've been a Christian since I was a young child and continue to foster my interest in Christian theology.
I've recently begun reading a little about Messianic Judiasm which has been interesting although I'm not planning on converting. That said - I think Christians might benefit from understanding more the Hebraic roots of our religion.
At any rate - I look forward to a lot of encouraging discussion here!
All the best

Hi again Justin and welcome!! Many years ago I used to do some door to door evangelism among the Jewish people with a pastor and other young people, here in Los Angeles. Are you familiar with Jews for Jesus ministry? They've been around a long time.

Hello Debp - I've not heard of them no. It sounds like an interesting organization. I hope they're doing some good down in LA. That place could certainly use it

That place could certainly use it Jews for Jesus work all over the world. I did not work with them, but with a pastor that originally was a missionary to China, then Thailand (when they got kicked out of China)....and finally he and his wife had the ministry to the Jews. I did volunteer work with them.
