Hillary Clinton delivers private pro-'gay marriage' speech to homosexual activists

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) that she intends to make sure "nothing stands in the way of loving couples, gay or straight, who want to adopt children." Peter LaBarbera, a conservative activist known for his staunch opposition to the homosexual agenda, says even he was surprised by what the New York senator and presidential hopeful had to say while addressing America's most powerful and well-funded homosexual activist group.

During her address to HRC, Clinton also reaffirmed her support for homosexual civil unions by announcing her co-sponsorship of the Domestic Partnership Benefits and Obligations Act, which would grant the same benefits to homosexual partners of federal workers as those given to legal spouses. It was her implied support for same-sex "marriage," however, that "shocked" LaBarbera of the pro-family activist group, Americans for Truth.

The former First Lady seemed "completely beholden" to HRC's agenda, LaBarbera says. "It's astonishing to watch the evolution of liberals," he observes. "Once they start down that road of the homosexual agenda, it seems as if it's a matter of a few years before they're going all the way."

Senator Clinton "went all the way" in voicing her support for HRC's agenda, all "except saying fully that she endorses homosexual so-called 'marriage,'" the Americans for Truth spokesman contends. "But if you're endorsing full benefits for homosexual couples, it doesn't really matter if you call it civil unions or marriage," he says. "It's really de facto homosexual so-called marriage."

In the speech, which was closed to the media, Clinton lauded HRC for working with her to defeat the Federal Marriage Amendment. LaBarbera feels the New York senator spoke as though she worked for the homosexual activist group.

"Liberals like Hillary and Obama are playing a very sneaky game in my view," the pro-family advocate notes. "They're for homosexual marriage -- it doesn't matter what you call it. If you're giving all the benefits of marriage to homosexual couples or unmarried couples, it's basically marriage," he says.

Senator Clinton is promoting exactly that, LaBarbera asserts. But politicians like her and Barack Obama "know that they can't come out officially for homosexual so-called marriage," the Americans for Truth official says, "so they don't take that last final step."

In Clinton's speech, LaBarbera points out, she also called for passage of "hate crimes" legislation and the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. And, he notes, the Democratic presidential candidate vowed she would fight to repeal the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy as well.

It is not surprising she didn't want the media present.  What is surprising, is that she believed it would not be exposed.  It will be interesting to see how she manages to overcome this.  Obviously, she and other politicians have no problem compromising their principles to garner votes, and are completely ignoring the Christians.  We must show up at the polls and make our voices heard.  Otherwise, we will continue to watch as our country falls further into moral decay.

Yes, not surprising at all. Too many politicians want to have it both ways, trying to satisfy everyone. I wish that we could get some politicians that would take a definitive stance and stop trying to please everyone in this manner. It would be much easier to decide who to vote for.
