As the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that he might deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Heb. 2:14, 15

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Cor. 15:55, 57

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. II Cor. 4:16

We know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. We are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. II Cor. 5:1, 6-8

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:1-3

We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house. Psa. 65:4

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. Psa. 27:4

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matt. 5:6

He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. Luke 1:53

He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. Psa. 107:9

I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 6:35

How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. Psa. 36:7-9

Do ye now believe? John 16:31

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? Faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. James 2:14, 17

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son. Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead. Heb. 11:17-19

Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. James 2:21, 24

Whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. James 1:25

By their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matt. 7:20, 21

If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. John 13:17

The Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. II Thess. 3:16

Peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come. Rev. 1:4

The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:7

Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. Luke 24:36

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

The Comforter ... even the Spirit of truth. John 15:26

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace. Gal. 5:22

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Rom. 8:16

My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? Exo. 33:14-16

We glory in tribulations. Rom. 5:3

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. I Cor. 15:19

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. I Pet. 4:12, 13

Sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing. II Cor. 6:10

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, rejoice. Phil. 4:4

They departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. Acts 5:41

The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing. Rom. 15:13

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Rom 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the
power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew
first, and also to the Greek.
Rom 1:17  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith
to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Salvation, salvation from death under the law by God's perfect grace.

Rom 3:10  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:11  There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh
after God.
Rom 3:12  They are all gone out of the way, they are together become
unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Rom 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 5:12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and
death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have
sinned:

Rom 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all
ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in
unrighteousness;

Rom 3:20  Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be
justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Rom 3:27  Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of
works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Rom 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be
saved from wrath through him.

Rom 2:4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance
and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee
to repentance?

Rom 3:22  Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus
Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no
difference:

Rom 3:28  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith
without the deeds of the law.

Rom 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 4:21  And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was
able also to perform.

Rom 4:24  But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe
on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

Rom 5:1  Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Rom 10:10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and
with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Rom 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest. Isa. 32:2

Forasmuch ... as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same. Heb. 2:14

The man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts. Zech. 13:7

I and my Father are one. John 10:30

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psa. 91:1

There shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain. Isa. 4:6

The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. Psa. 121:5, 6

When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psa. 61:2

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble. Psa. 32:7

Thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. Isa. 25:4

Behold, I create new heavens and a new earth. Isa. 65:17

The new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me.... so shall your seed and your name remain. Isa. 66:22

We, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. II Pet. 3:13

I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. Rev. 21:1-5

Ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I John 2:20

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power. Acts 10:38

It pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell. Col. 1:19

Of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. John 1:16

Thou anointest my head with oil. Psa. 23:5

The anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. I John 2:27

The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you ail things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26

The Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Rom. 8:26

Having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience. Heb. 10:22

If the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Heb. 9:13, 14

The flood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Heb. 12:24

We have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. Eph. 1:7

When Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people. Moreover he sprinkled ... with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Heb. 9:19, 21, 22

I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause. Job 5:8

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? Gen. 18:14

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psa. 37:5

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. Phil. 4:6

Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you. I Pet. 5:7

Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. And Hezekiah prayed unto the Lord. Isa. 37:14, 15

It shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Isa. 65:24

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. Psa. 116:1, 2

Where shall wisdom be found? Job 28:12

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. James 1:5, 6

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Prov. 3:5, 6

The only wise God. I Tim. 1:17

Be not wise in thine own eyes. Prov. 3:7

Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. Jer. 1:6-8

Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:23, 24

All things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matt. 21:22

I would not live alway. Job 7:16

And I said, O that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest. I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest. Psa. 55:6, 8

In this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. II Cor. 5:2, 4

Having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better. Phil. 1:23

Let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who, for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Heb. 12:1-3

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. Psa. 119:71

Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered. Heb. 5:8

We suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Rom. 8:17, 18

He knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. Job 23:10, 11

Thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee. Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. Deut. 8:2, 5, 6

By strength shall no man prevail. I Sam. 2:9

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone. I Sam. 17:45, 49, 50

There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. Psa. 33:16, 18

Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. I Chron. 29:12

I glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. II Cor. 12:9, 10
