Please pray that God will return to me the joy of His Salvation and restore peace to my heart.  I have been going through a great depression and need God to deliver me from the feeling of dispair and hopelessnesss.
My life isn't going as I would have hoped it would and now as the year is almost over, I am reminded again of how much I have missed and how much I need things to change.  Please pray God will give me the Hope I need to make it through another year.

Thank you.

Hi ChosenbyHim,

It's good to see you back on the forum.

Yes I will be glad to pray for you. It is easy for us to become discouraged and depressed in a world such as we live in. However the joy, the hope, the peace that you desire is all right there. You only need to turn to Him to see it, to give all those worldly cares over to Him.

Praying for you, too.  It always helps me to know that God is always with me, no matter what I go through.
Sometimes, too, it helps to reach out to someone else that is in need or lonely.  God bless.

I'll be praying for you too.

I know the feeling, when you said your life isn't going as you'd hoped. I think it all the time. I've missed out on a lot in life so far, and it gets me down because I think "I could have done that so much better". But never dwell on the past. It can't be changed, and it just causes depression.

I saw the new year coming and I thought, I've made so many mistakes this year. I have really missed out on things. But then I realized that so much good can happen in a new year, and trust me, a lot of change can happen in one year. Now I think that 2007 will be a great year for change.

I'll pray that God will give you hope.

So many of us we be praying for you.  I can understand perhaps, or at least know how I have felt in times past like this.  I've been a bit of an over-achiever, but can never seem to accomplish.  But my Joy is in the Lord.  I have to be reminded of this from time to time.

Keep your focus on Him as we all pray for you.
