[I sure wish Jesus would come REAL soon! My motives, I confess, are somewhat selfish—being the last of the family is a REAL bummer—especially during the holiday seasons—Christmas, particularly.

I do have my dog and cat for company, thank God, but it DOES get lonely anyway.

Here’s some lovely images I have copied and saved over the years.

I have others I'll be happy to share, as well as some links to my personal Website.

Hi Marc,

It's good to see you back on the forum. Those are some nice graphics.

I do understand what it is like being alone on Christmas. Thank God we Jesus so we won't truly be alone. If you want I will be here a part of Christmas and you are welcome to join me.

[ My motives, I confess, are somewhat selfish

I understand the feeling. I have family & a good husband, but no children. Even with all that you can still get lonely.
I pray He hurries, too. My "selfish" motives are I don't like what the world has turned in to. Today I have more fear than contentment living in this world. Everywhere you look there is sadness. In my heart, though, I have to stay strong. Jesus tells us:
God did not give us the  spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind(2 Tim 1: 7). I hope you have a Blessed CHRISTmas. This is what it's all about.......CHRIST!!

Hi bj875,

I see this is your first post so, Welcome to Christians Unite.

Amen, with Christ in our lives we can have that peace that passes all understanding. "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment." With Jesus Christ we have that perfect love.

Hello bj875,

WELCOME!

We are just humans, so weakness and fear from time to time are normal emotions for us. As Christians, these are the times that we need to remember that our Heavenly Father is the Ruler of the Universe, our GREAT AND ALMIGHTY GOD. We find our strength in CHRIST, the One who loved us enough to die for us. We find our comfort and encouragement in the HOLY SPIRIT who lives in our hearts

I'm looking forward to reading your posts and having fellowship with you.

Love In Christ,
Tom

I think you're in luck. My pastor says that Jesus is coming VERY soon. He said that it's not even a matter of years before His return. Of course, he doesn't know the day and time, since no one does, but he says that God has revealed things to him. What exactly, I don't know. He says that Jesus MUST be coming soon due to the recent events in the Middle East. Don't ask me to go into more details, since I'm not familiar with them. But I believe my pastor because he is on-fire for God. He's not afraid to preach Hellfire and brimstone.

I was actually quite concerned that we wouldn't make to this Christmas before the Rapture. I doubt that we will make it to another Christmas.

As said before, you're never alone in life as long as you have Jesus.
