Lebanese Adults: U.S. and Israel Caused Recent War
01:15 Dec 08, '06 / 17 Kislev 5767

(IsraelNN.com) A new Gallup poll shows that 40-percent of Lebanese adults blame Israel for the 34-day war that followed the kidnapping of IDF reservists Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev this summer. Some 24-percent said, however, that the United States was most responsible.

Hizbullah terrorists kidnapped the two soldiers in a cross-border attack on Israel’s northern border. At the same time, they carried out a separate fatal attack.

Hizbullah was held responsible by 18 percent of Lebanese adults. Eight percent blamed Iran, and five percent blamed Syria.

OK so how do you combat logic such as this.

Hizbullah terrorists cross the border into Isreal and kidnap 2 Isreali soldiers
Isreal in retaliation strike out at Lebanon

The adults of Lebanon have the following breakdown of responsibility
40% think it is Isreal's fault
24% think it is the U.S. fault
18% think it is Hizbullah's fault
13% think otherwise

And some groups here in the States think there is reasoning with these people (terrorists).  Look at the thought process of the region.  They are all Democrats Cheesy

I go into a store and rob it and shoot and kill the clerk
40% think it is your fault - you did not pay enough taxes so that I got gment subsidies so that I was not so poor as to have to rob the place
24% think it is Some other stores fault - if they had put up a store closer to me I would have robbed it instead of the other one.
18% think it is my fault

And it is this group of people in the U.S. that agree with the 40% in Lebanon.
