Ahmadinejad: Israel will disappear
JPost.com Staff, THE JERUSALEM POST

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh held talks in Doha, Qatar on Friday.

The Islamic Republic News Agency reported Saturday Ahmadinejad saying, "As everybody knows, the Zionist regime was created to establish dominion of arrogant states over the region and to enable the enemy to penetrate the heart Muslim land."

Saying the Israeli regime was inherently a "threat," and was "on the verge of disappearing"
Haniyeh praised the support of the Iranian government and nation for the cause of the Palestinian nation. "The Iranian nation's brilliant stand in the rightful battles of the Palestinians encourages them and signifies their deep understanding of Islamic principles," Iran's official state-run news agency reported.

"The Intifada (uprising) of the Palestinian nation will continue until the cause of the Palestinians is materialized and Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) is liberated," added Haniyeh.

Ahmadinejad went on to say that, "Today scores of Western politicians are in doubt as to the future of this illegitimate regime and its existence has come under question.

"There is no doubt the Palestinian nation and Muslims as a whole will emerge victorious," the Iranian president told Haniyeh.

"The continued commission of crimes by the Zionist regime will speed up the collapse of this fictitious regime," said Ahmadinejad.

Psalm 37:12 The wicked plot against the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright in right standing with God); they gnash at them with their teeth.

I agree the plans of men against God are laughable, but we shouldn't join in on the joke. We should pray for our enemies. That means praying for Bin Ladin, Ahmadinejad, Assad and all the rest.  The scary underlying fact that is, is that Iran is now talking to the Phillistines (oops, the Palestinians) that is what allies do before they intend to strike.

I don't think anyone in here fully appreciates the power that little nation known as Isreal wields. They have the best trained military in the world. They are the only nuclear power in the region. They could take out the entire terrorist world within days should they need to. The problem is the UN. Israel does it right when allowed to. They take no prisoners. They don't negotiate unless pressured by the US or the UN.
I pray Netanyahu gets re-elected. They need a hardline policy. If I were Bush, I'd turn a blind eye to Israe in terms of what they do. We need more Sword of Gideon action, not less. Praying for terrorists does not work. They need to be taken out. Full stop.

You would be wrong, in that statement.

Jeremiah 33:14 Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will fulfill the good promise I have made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah.

Ezekiel 21:10 It [the sword of Babylon] is sharpened that it may make a slaughter, polished that it may flash and glitter like lightning! Shall we then rejoice and make mirth [when such a calamity is impending]? But the rod or scepter of My son [Judah] rejects and views with contempt every tree [that is, since God's promise long ago to Judah is certain, he believes Judah's scepter must remain no matter what power arises against it]!

Biblical knowledge aside, I still don't think most people get just how powerful Israel really is. People, particularly Americans, equate power to size of the country. Huge mistake. The US would have a difficult time taking Israel out, nukes being out of the question.

Having been a military brat myself as well as being military, and, after having studied it, I can safely tell you that, given the green light, Israel could lay waste to the middle east without a problem other than perhaps logistics. They have the troops, the weapons, the skill, and better still, the will power.

On top of that God says it will happen.
