This seems to fit the style of Charlie Rangel and his agenda. Charlie Rangel has proven ties to the Workers World Party where he has been seen to speak at many of their rallies. The Workers World Party long ago progressed beyond being progressives. They are Stalinists. Their ideology calls for the destruction of the United States, the abolition of privately owned property, and the literal enslavement of the entire human race. The word "evil" barely does them justice.
The WWP sides with the horrific totalitarian regime in North Korea against the USA. From their eulogy for the communist dictator Kim Il Sung:
Comrade Kim Il Sung devoted his whole life to the Korean people's struggle for national self-determination and the international working-class struggle for socialist emancipation. With his leadership, the Korean people defeated the Japanese colonial occupation and soon after brought about the first defeat of the U.S. imperialist military machine.
The associated Troops Out Now sides with the Islamic insurgents killing our troops in Iraq:
It is time for the antiwar movement to acknowledge the absolute and unconditional right of the Iraqi people to resist the occupation of their country without passing judgment on their methods of resistance.
It other words, terrorist tactics and beheadings are a-okay with Charlie Rangel's pals, so long as the objective is to defeat America.
Charlie Rangel has also been associating himself with communist leaders such as Fidel Castro. Fidel has paid for Rangel and his family to go to Cuba a number of times. Charlie Rangel has also strongly supported the islamist terrorists while at the same time denegrating Christians and Jews.
Ramsey Clark and Lynne Stewart have also been seen at these rallies in support of the WWP. For those not familiar with who Lynne Stewart is she is the person that was recently sentenced to a wrist slap for helping an Islamic terrorist involved in the first attack on the World Trade Center to preside over his operations from behind bars.
Charlie Rangel is now leading the Ways and Means Committee:
Created in 1789, Ways and Means is the oldest standing Committee in Congress. Due to its broad jurisdiction on critical issues — involving economic policy, international trade, welfare, Social Security, Medicare and health care policy — the committee occupies a pivotal place in the House Committee system. In addition to legislating, the Committee exercises broad oversight authority in all these areas.
