I do not know how pratical it would be, but I would make it so that each member of congress, (both house and senate), could only serve one 6 year term. The president also. They would be stagered, so they were not all being changed at the same time. Perhaps this would help get rid of the special interest groups who have so much influence in the policy of our government.
Love in Christ. Roy.

Oh, just one thing? I would give a little bit more power to states, and put more focus on local elections, less on National.

Our nation's focus from self and personal rights to God. Uniquely, when God is the center of the believer's life, the believer isn't centered on themselves and their wants and desires, but rather on those of others. But that's just if I could change something...

Get rid of tibby and his catholic cronies. hehehehe j/k
Actually I would agree with royo in that I would like to abolish career polititians. I love how the gov't votes on whether or not they get a raise and how they don't have to contribute to SS and get paid until they die. I'd love to be the President and start a cut in pay on all the polititians, and force them to have to get SS too. Watch how fast things would change. It's pretty sad that the white house has such a large group of misdemeanors against them. I mean legal too not just opinion. They have more parking, speeding, drunk driving violations etc than the average town. Not good, not good at all.

Yeah, and I say we get rid of the ACLU, too. There has to be a workable way to get rid of that.

I would put GOD back into our society stronger than ever in America's history and write legislation that would prevent anyone from messing it up again.

Fortunately, that's not possible. You can make it hard, but you can't make it impossible.

Fortunately, that's not possible. You can make it hard, but you can't make it impossible. Ebia, I thought you said that you were a Christian. If so, why would you object to putting God back into American society? A heavy presence of God in American society for over 200 years made America one of the most powerful and prosperous nations in the world. God has obviously blessed America as a Christian nation and will continue to unless we turn our backs on God and fail to recognize HIM as LORD over this nation. If I remember correctly, you don't live in America either, so why should you care? You claim to be a Christian, yet you say that it is fortunate America can't live as a nation UNDER GOD? ? Ebia, it really doesn't sound like you are a Christian in desire, thought, practice, or manner. I really can't remember any Biblical teaching that you have agreed with. In short, it's impossible to be a Christian and disagree with the Holy Bible from cover to cover.

Some boards have a way so that you have to be aproved by a mod before you can post. Not a bad idea with all the trolls we have been tracking.

What a curious question.
I think I might try to change how Federal judges are appointed to the bench. Manuel Estrada two months ago was shamefully treated by the liberal Senators--and Estrada is a minority with stellar credentials! The Democrats are always harping about the unfortunates of the minorities, but they invariably avoid voting any into any significant public office.
Our courts are fast becoming a "Star Chamber"(reference 16th century English courts) for the God-hating, immoral and uinmerciful liberal left. And they are succeeding at it. "Behold, I send you into the midst of wolves...", said Jesus.
But this is a most interesting question.
