25 degrees – in North Carolina!
Normal low temp in Raleigh for this time of year is 42 Fahrenheit

Yes, it's November. We get it. This is the time of year when it's supposed to get cooler in North Carolina.

But Sunday morning's temperature was more than cool. It was cold.

A new record low temperature was set when the mercury dipped to 25 degrees at Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

That broke the old record of 27 degrees, which was set in 1995. The normal low is 42 degrees.

But the temperatures will get back to normal (at least North Carolina normal) this week.

High temperatures today and Tuesday will be in the low 60s, with lows in the mid 40s. By Wednesday and Thursday, the highs will be in the low 70s.
