A blunt new ad says the world is more dangerous… because of Iraq.

VoteVets Action Fund made up of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans, is today unveiling an ad that directly takes on the now-infamous “These Are the Stakes” ad that began airing earlier this month.

Featuring four Iraq veterans and VoteVets.org Advisory Board Member, retired General Wesley Clark, the ad reminds Americans that the next time they see ads declaring the world is a more dangerous place, they should remember it is that way, because of Iraq.

"Because of Iraq"

Anthony Flores, Iraq War Veteran: "Because of Iraq, Osama bin Ladin is still a threat."

Robert Loria, Iraq War Veteran: "Because of Iraq, our military is spread too thin."

Joseph Kramer, Iraq War Veteran: "Because of Iraq, there are more terrorists in the world."

General Wes Clark (ret.): "Because of Iraq, America is less secure.

So if you see commercials telling you to be afraid of terrorism....

Remember, it's because of Iraq."

Apparently these people think that 9/11 and the other incidents prior to that were all cause by the Iraq War. I have a warning for them.

I've seen this ad, and it make NO SENSE at all.

I watched Shawn Hannity interview General Wes Clark one night, and Hannity took the General apart. The General appears to be a bought and paid for talking head. In fact, there appears to be a lot of bought and paid for talking heads these days. It's actually somewhat amusing to watch them try to defy common sense. The terrorists of this world declared war against us decades ago. Their hatred of us and their wish to kill us has nothing to do with Iraq. The same is true for the terrorists who have been killing people in Israel for 50 years.

Here's a hint:  Christians and Jews are infidels and must be killed. In some cases, they are given an opportunity to convert to Islam or be killed, but that isn't required and that method is rarely used.

It makes as much sense as Wesley Clark always has. None!
