Hey all,

I am looking for 4 or 5 female band members who are passionate about spreading God’s Word through the ministry of music.  Interested persons must be 18 or over, enjoy a wide variety of music, and be willing to relocate.  Open positions include guitarist, bassist, drummer, pianist (piano and keyboard), and singer.  Knowledge of technical equipment a plus!

More info, please email doubleedgeband@aol.com or visit:

I'm not the "join-a-band" type, but it sounds neat! Do you have any idea what you'll be doing, i.e, living accomodations, performing, traveling, etc.?

Since it will be a brand new band with all new members, we would start out with everyone having at least a part-time job (if they want one) while we work on learning songs and figuring out the technical aspects of everything (like how we would setup while travelling, whether we will make our own CD's or hire someone, etc).  As far as living arrangements, that is totally up to those that join.  We could all find a nice-sized house to rent or we could all do individual apartments.  I wouldn't mind sharing living space, as I come from a large family and I'm used to sharing space!  Wink  I do not have my own apartment at the moment, but they aren't  hard to find around here and the prices are fairly low (good quality at a good price, no joke).

Hope that answers your questions.  Wink

Smiley May God be with you as you pursue this! It'll take a lot of courage and strength!  Wink I wish I could help, but I can't do anything band-worthy.

Oh how I'd love to help you Two! I play drums, classical piano, (trumpet sometimes)  But, I can't do much to help you through this screen!
May God be with you in this project.

Tamara, I wish you could help!  I haven't had any drummers apply yet.   Sad   Prayers are greatly appreciated though!   Wink

Nope, don't have all my members yet, but I found a partner of sorts that is pairing up with me, and we're going to wait it out just a while longer to see if we get any other replies.  If not, we're going to wait until later next year to start recruiting again.  In the meantime, we're going to work some things out to be better prepared next year.  It's still running smoothly, and God is still good!  Smiley Smiley

Father has his own timing Two!  You'll get there as it's to His glory for you to do so.  Have you advertised in the local christian newspaper?

What we're basically doing right now is waiting for the ads we put online to run their course.  We're going to wait until next year (probably late spring or early summer) to put "real" ads out there - newspapers, magazines, etc.  The planning process is coming along really well though!   Cool  I can't wait to see what God has in store.   Cheesy

You'll be amazed Two! Father loves music and He knows your heart.  He will see that all goes well for you! And, I pray that all will go accordingly for you.  Father has His own timing, and, it is perfect.  So you can bet that He is chosing just the right musicians for you.

God Bless you
Love..Tamara
