Speak of grace

When I speak of grace or that I understand
It's not my grace I speak of and not my strength of hand

It's not my acts of kindness that I cherish best
To help another sojourner make it through thier test

But when I speak of grace and what it means to me
It's all about the One who loves and how He sets me free

It's all about what He sees, hidden, whole or part
And still continues loving me and speaking to my heart

For I have done some wretched things in past which trouble me
But He's attoned for them all and cast them in the sea

They're ne'r to be remembered as far is east from west
There's nothing that can seperate me from my Father's best

Not trials, tests, persecutions, famines, peril, sword
Nothing can take me from Jesus Christ my Lord

Not height nor depth nor anything created short or tall
Not death nor life nor wicked powers, to God they are so small

From all my guilt, all my shame,from sin I've been set free
All because my God is love and pours His grace on me
