Welcome to Christians Unite. While those things are great things to do true happiness cannot be found in just those things alone without Jesus Christ. It is important that if one wants true happiness they must accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour then they will have found true happiness for eternity with Him.

Anything that vaguely represents happiness that stems from this world is only temporary.

True happiness can only be found in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Once we have Him in our heart we have everything we need. Knowing that all this world has to offer is only temporal, but in the Lord there is fullness of joy for all eternity.

I was just thinking that this subject is a paradox for the lost people of the world. Many associate the pleasures of this world with being happy, but many of those pleasures actually result in misery and unhappiness. I'm thinking about alcohol, drugs, sex, and many other things that the devil pushes and encourages as being fun and happy. It's amazing how much misery some people put themselves and their families through before a light bulb finally comes on and the truth is revealed: This isn't fun - it's misery and punishment.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is the happiness that is only possible by having JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Saviour. It makes me happy just to think about everything it means to belong to JESUS CHRIST for eternity.

YES! - Happiness does equal JESUS CHRIST as Lord and Saviour!
