Hey I just wanted to say hey to everyone. Im new here.
Ive been looking for a good christian board.
A little bit about me:  I grew up all my life going to church with my parents.
I wasen't really into it like they were. When I was just turning 16 I quit church for 6 months hanging out with anyone doing things that I shouldent have been doing.
Then when I was almost 17 I decided to start going back to church for some reason and I decided to live for Jesus. Its awesome but theres still a lot of stuff in my life I just am having a hard time breaking free of. I am 18 years old now almost 19.

Well I dont really know too much else to say about myself.

Hi alien_youth,

Welcome to Christians Unite. I'm glad to see you here and hope that you will be happy that you came here. There are many that have things in their lives that they struggle with so you are not alone. The wonderful part of that is that Jesus is there to help us through it all.

Hello Alien_Youth,

WELCOME!

It sounds like you have just made some very important decisions that will have a positive impact on you for the rest of your life. I am very happy to hear about you dedicating your life to JESUS. Your decision means that you are in a time where you will be growing stronger and stronger in CHRIST. You will soon realize that you are never alone because the Holy Spirit of GOD lives in your heart. Prayer, Bible study, and yielding to the will of GOD will lead to greater happiness and help from GOD in doing the things that you already know that HE wants you to do. Much of your strength will be from GOD, and you will start to know why the Holy Bible says that you can do all things in CHRIST. It's really a matter of you yielding and letting HIM fill you with good things and shove the bad things out. The more you yield, the happier and stronger you will become. So, it really becomes a matter of letting GOD have HIS way for your life. HIS Way will always be the best way.

I hope some of this made sense. I look forward to having fellowship with you.

Love In Christ,
Tom

~I Will Listen To The Voice Of Truth!~

Hello alien_youth!

I am so excited that you are walking in the Lord's footsteps.  I'm also 18 and I have alot to figure out about life and alot of better decisions to make when it comes to following in His footsteps.

I was also like you.  I grew up going to church and I was into it and after my mother passed away I let it go for about 3 years and I felt as if something was missing from my life and I realized what it was, it was the Lord!

He IS the answer & without Him you are never complete, in my opinion.

I'm also new to the fourms & I'm glad that you have joined, as well.

Keep Christ #1 and everything you do try your hardest to follow in His footsteps because he will never place a mountain in front of you that you are not able to climb.

God Bless Cheesy

Hi alien_youth,

I am so glad that you're hearing the voice/call of God and responding to Him.

There's nothing too big that God cannot help you through.  You don't have too many problems (there's no such thing) that He cannot remove in time.  He will NEVER leave you, nor forsake you.  NEVER!!!  I can promise you this.  You just keep your eyes on Him the best you can.  Seek His mercy and grace and love.  Call out to Him always.  My walk in Christ started much like yours.  After 32 years of walking, falling, getting up, walking more, falling more, getting up more, He still loves me and holds me close.  He'll do the same for you and all of His kids.  You can believe what He says.  You can trust Him.  He loves you.

your brother in Christ,
Bill
