Forecast: Israel will disappear in 17 years
Wars, events that will take place in course of 2007 will eventually lead to Israel's destruction, says Egyptian astrologer

Pack up and practice swimming to Cyprus: Israel will disappear in 17 years, an Egyptian astrologer predicted on Staurday.
Dr Sayyed Mohammad Ali, who predicted this week's death of Egyptian acclaimed writer Najib Mahfouz, is focusing his expertise on predicting the fall of the Jewish State, the Qatar-based newspaper al-Watan reported.
Dr. Ali, who successfully predicted the death of two prominent Egyptian artists, said Israel will launch a new war in by the end of 2007 and Lebanon will witness "regretful events."
He said he had predicted that in 2006 opposition to the United States will increase, and this is evident today in the coalition between Iran and Syria .

He also predicts a confrontation between Israel and Iran, which could take place as early as 2007.
Ali predicts a war in Iran and the Persian Gulf area, an assassination of an Arab leader and more terror attacks in Britain and the United States.
The newspaper said Ali also believes that in 2007 the British royal family will be jolted by a series of scandals.
According to Ali, during that year, China, Russia and India will back Syrian President Bashar Assad in his confrontation with the United States and the war and "Palestinian resistance to Israel" will increase.
The year 2007 will mark the beginning of the countdown for the destruction of Israel, a process that will last 17 years, he claimed.

Hopefully sooner than that! I don't think this "prophet" was thinking about the rapture and the "new Jerusalem" though. Hopefully he will see this truth by the time he stands before God. But, 3500 years ago Egyptian astrologers said as much about our demise.
