Quotes taken directly from the "Reagan Ranch 2004 Calendar"

(1983)
"The Founding Fathers believed that faith in God was the key to our being a good people and America's becoming a great nation."

(1980)
"Our government, in its most sacred documents ....speak of man being created, of a Creator; that we're a nation under God."

(1980)
The Constitution was never meant to prevent people from praying; its declared purpose was to protect their freedom to pray."

(1983)
"The image of George Washington kneeling in prayer in the snow is one of the most famous in American history. He personified a peple who knew it was not enough to depend on their own courage and goodness; they must also seek help from God, their Father and Presever."

Thank you Mr. Reagan and may God bless you,

Alfie

Many years ago I read the story of his life, and found him to be a deeply spiritual man. His faith is real. And I agree with what you said. Thank you Mr. Reagan.

Oklahoma Howdy to Alfie,

Thanks for sharing that information with us about President Reagan. I always liked him as an actor and as the President.

I like to go to the on-line version of the Library of Congress when I have spare time. They have search engines that do a great job in providing masses of information about America's history. Try a search of "Religious Freedom" or "Religious quotes", and you will find an endless amount of fascinating material.

In Christ,
Tom
