This is a beautiful movie based on a true story in the early 1900's, about an African American whose dream was to become a doctor. He applied for a job at a well known cardiologist's lab but was disappointed when he found out his job was to clean out the animal cages where the doctor performed lab tests. He read everything he could from the doctor's library everytime he had the opportunity, soon he was the doctors assistant. If you want to know the rest you'll have to watch the movie.  Cheesy Cheesy
I rate this one 5 thumbs up!  Grin Grin

It's a movie on DVD, I only order clean family oriented movies many of them are Christian, you would be surprised how many movies are out there that never get a lot of attention, I guess because they are clean.

One of my favorite "religious" family films is Liam, about a small English boy of about 7 or 8 years old who is about to take his first communion in depression-era England His family is dirt poor and the poor lad is having a heck of a time coping with the goings on around him. His dad is angry, his mom is fed up with having no money, no clean clothes, no real food, etc.

Great film, but it can be heavily depressing at times.
