Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

After 7 months the Department of the Air Force has finally given me the desision, and I have been medically disqualified for duty. Now while this seems sort of devistateing, since my fulltime emplyment depended on my being fit for duty, I feel this is Gods will and direction for me, since from the begining of the process I have been praying for His will to be done, and as we know, it always is.

Now I bet you are wondering........."what are you getting at here Gary?"

Well, I have several employment options, (Praise God for the abilities He has granted me) and the possibility of beginning a business of my own, as well as the remote chance I can further my education, and study my passion, theology.

I would so love to serve the Lord in my employment as well as my life.

Pray that his will continue to be done in my life and my familys lives, and that I have the stregnth to rest my fear on Him and to take up His yoke, because fear leads us to try to control things we have no control of, and I tend to hold on to things. Pray I reside in his stregnth.

BIC
(blessings in Christ)

Seems like the Almighty specializes in calling His people from their occupations in agriculture, accounting, commercial fishing and carpentry . . . why not professional defense?

To contrast with "occupation", vocation has its roots in the Latin vocare ("to call").  I am inspired by your faith and your desire to see the Hand of God at work through this time of professional transition.  I'm sure all of us eagerly await your next chapter!

Many blessings!

Amen sister. that is all WE can do Grin

This journey God has placed me in, will be a slow one. I know that the buracracy of this will take at least 4 months. So I just keep my eyes and ears open and keep the mouth shut Grin and God will present what he wants me to do.

-------UPDATE------

For those that understand Wink I am starting my out prossesing.

I am not afraid of whats to come ("tommorow will care for itself") but I have some "separation anxiety"

I have been in the Air Force since I graduated high school..............hard to let it go, but the Lord is relocating me, and I'll go.
