They are spineless.
The majority at the Presbyterian annual conclave agreed on total confusion within the Protestant denomination. It is this: the national position is that sex should remain heterosexual. BUT if a local church decides to have a practicing homosexual clergyperson or officer, that’s all right.
Now what kind of Christian witness is that?
Nothing. It is nothing but crisis confusion. Christ is weeping. The devout are weeping. The historic parentage of Presbyterianism is weeping. True believers everywhere are weeping.
God will answer in judgment, just as His Word proclaims, though those who put in place the antithesis to biblical data don’t believe it. They believe they are smarter than God. Therefore, they can rewrite Scripture. God will answer. He will act. By his own holy nature, He must respond to the apostate and of course He will do just that.
Therefore, those who seek divine mercy and wisdom will remain on the side of God. The foolish will write their own religion and be damned.
One more segment of Christendom has shown itself a part of the "great falling away" as prophesied in the New Testament. The End Times are witnessing daily to the crumbling of the Church of Christ in areas where weakness reigns supremely.
That makes the righteous remnant all the more determined to remain boldly faithful, just as biblical prophecy states.
