Yes, many coalition forces played a part in this action. It was the U.S. Military that dealt the final blow. A bunch of his cronnies went with him also. I don't know exactly how many, but they were celebrating in Iraq,
It is believed though that those most likely to take his place were not there. |

Brother, I pray that it will be very soon. Remember when Saddam was captured hiding in a hole in the ground after his sons were killed. Maybe it will be like this again and I hope they get a big BONUS and catch Usama with them.

They have only identified one other person so far besides Zarqawi so only time will tell who else was taken out in this event.

They were bombed while in a 'safe-house', there were at least 17 with him, hopefully they were some of his top henchmen. And to add to the celebration the newly refurbished USS Cole, set sail again this morning.

The airstrike took place on June 7, at 6:15 p.m. Iragee time. The other person identified so far is one of his key lieutenants, spiritual advisor Sheik Abd-Al-Rahman.
