I really need prayer for direction for my life. I need to know what I am supposed to do with my life. What does God want me to do now??
I have plenty of people with lots of voices telling me what they think that I should do and I have many options that I could take at this time. But I just want to do what God wants me to do. Not what I want to do or anyone else.
It is hard right now because money is tight for me and I could just go to school to get the quickest course that pays well that I know that I could get a job doing to make the most amount of money, but I am trying to wait on God to tell me what he wants me to do.
Every job that I have explored so far has been closed in my face and made clear that it is not right so far.
I have been waiting on God but still no concrete answer. I work volunteering at my church in a major way and also I am writing a series of novels that I am sure that God wants me to do, but even though I know God wants me to do those things, they don't pay the bills. I keep telling myself to do the work that he has set before me and trust Him to provide but the bills are piling up and I am getting further behind.
I am afraid.
Please pray for me.
Thanks

I understand the fear that you are experiencing
Eve. Trust in the Lord, place your fears in His hands. Yes, I will join in prayers with you that He opens the doors and make the way He wants you to go be made clear to you.

Amen PR.
Eve, may I add that God will never leave you or forsake you, He is always right there beside you, He knows what your needs are.
The Bible tells us to ask and it shall be given unto us, all we have to do is go to God with our requests and ask Him in the Name of Jesus

Mt 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Mr 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Php 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Precious Eve,
I shall add you to my intercession during my nightly time in my prayer room.

I can tell you that, worrying about finances takes everything out of the Lord's hands and into yours. It is easy for me to say this now, having already been through this, but I finally learned that, mountains don't move until I give everything to our Lord and lay it all at the cross. As with the sparrow, God will provide. He just must be given full control over your life. I will pray that you gain enough strength to give Him it all and I have faith that, you will see major things happen in your life once you do.

His time is never our timing, sweet one. Yet, He has a plan for us all and it appears, by what you are writing that, He is preparing your journey and strengthening you through your trials as well.

Try not to listen to man's advice, for advice should come only from the Lord. If I had listened to the advice of everyone around me, I would not have my marriage restored today. Everyone wanted me to divorce but I felt that God was working on both of our hearts, and stayed faithful while separated. It took two years but, major things happened to us both during that time, and now, we are together again, and strong in faith as well! This would have never happened had I listened to everyone else.

I will be praying for you sister. God Bless you!

In His Name,
Kelly

God bless you, Eve,

Please know that you will be included in my prayers, too.  I know that the Lord can work in strange and mysterious ways.  Please remember that He doesn't always let us know what He wants of our lives as bluntly or loudly as He did with Jonah or St. Paul, but sometimes he talks to us with a "tiny whispering sound," as he did Elijah (1 Kings 19:11-12).  Always walk with the love of God on your heart, and He will show you His way.

Peace,
