Just a little something I wrote a few days ago . . .

They say you only live once
   So live
Like you’ll never get another chance
   Give
Your world true love and romance
   And live
   To the fullest

They only live once, too
   So reach
And touch them when they’re down
   Speak
The words to erase the frown
   And live
   To the fullest

They say a friend is for the tough times
   So sigh
And face the world together
   Cry
And be comforted forever
   And live
   To the fullest

They say weeping is but for a moment
   So weep
And when the tears run dry
   Leap
Into the joy of life
   And live
   To the fullest

They say the end is a dark secret
   So kneel
And call to your Creator
   Feel
The eternal love of your Maker
   And live
   To the fullest

They say paradise awaits
   So come
When the journey’s over
   Run
Into the arms of your lover
   And live
   To the fullest
