It's getting increasingly harder for those people who are actually seeking the truth with all these "expert" testimonials around.

The good news for today is that I went for a long drive to Toronto with my friend Dave, who I posted about a while back - he's the guy who totally rejected Jesus and got hostile about it. Dave is actually wanting me to tell him all about Jesus today, and it appears that he is heading in the right direction my brothers!

John

Brother John that is wonderful news, I will be praying for Dave, that his eyes will be opened. And I will also be praying for you brother, that the Holy Spirit will give you all the right words to say.

Gospel of Judas is indeed Devil's plot just to confuse the beleivers and feed the skeptics.  But the sad truth is that people are drawn to such sensational revelations (!?)  NG forums are a proof for that.  Many in the forum say that all christians ought to be open about it, and few christians login to refute the gospel of judas as gnostic.

Amen Brothers, that means one thing we all have our work cut out for us we need to get more people to know the REAL TRUTH before their minds are so warped with all this nonsense. The sad thing about it is that a lot of people are allowing their eternity to be chosen for them by not searching for the REAL TRUTH, and when it's presented to them their minds are so full of the garbage they've read, seen or heard that it is difficult for them to see the TRUTH.
That is satan's tactic, that is how he works, thank God we know better, and that we are in a position to be able to teach others and lead them to Christ before it's too late.

You are so wide Maria!
I said this same thing to my friend Dave yesterday. satan is an extremely powerful being, with super angelic intelligence. Yes, he is rejected and condemned by God Almighty, but that has not decreased satan's strengths. he was created as the most beautiful, and special of all God's created beings. he is demonic, but he is also every bit as powerful as ever, only now, he uses that aw some God given power and ability to do evil. I told my friend that satan is constantly attempting to get us to turn away from God Almighty. I warned my friend that satan is the master deceiver, and that every rotten, dirty, lustful, deceitful, cunning, twisted plan ever hatched in the history of God's Creation is directly attributed back to satan. That is a fact my friends.

There is no bounds to satan's deceits. he will take what we love, and use it against us, he will take what we fear and use it against us, he will take what we don't understand, and cause us to understand it in his own terms.

If we are to believe in Jesus, we must also be very aware of satan. When we minister to others, we must also warn them of satan.

Here's an example of an exchange I had with my friend Dave, who is an unbeliever, and is now beginning to hunger for the Truth of Jesus.

Dave said to me...what about this Indian Shaman up North who believes in the spirit world, and who does contact our ancestors ( Dave is half Ojibwa, I am half Cherokee) but this shaman also has a picture of Jesus in his house, and he keeps pictures of Jesus, and crucifix's in his sweat lodge?

I then asked Dave...OK Dave, who is Jesus?
Dave's response...Jesus is like a light in a dark place, Jesus is part of the light energy...I stopped Dave right there. I told Dave that he was talking in new age terminology. I asked Dave again, who is Jesus? When Dave began to use new age terminology again to describe Jesus, I stopped him again, and I asked him directly.

Is Jesus God? He was stumped, then he began to murmur, "well, Jesus is the 'son' of God" so without going into a long winded explanation about the Trinity, I came right to the point. I said, Dave, Jesus Himself, said He was God.
Dave's mouth dropped open a wee bit, and it was at that exact point that I could see Jesus begin to literally work in Dave, because Dave's entire attitude changed right then and there, and he began to earnestly ask all about Jesus, and instead of having snappy replies, he was quiet, and actually listened to me.

I warned Dave about the new age terminology he was using, and I informed Dave - that kind of thinking, and language was directly from satan! I told Dave that he had very little chance of resisting satan without the love and help of Jesus in his life.
Dave is on his way my friends. He honestly and truly hungers for more of Jesus. I could see it on his face, he was being totally honest, and I could see that Jesus is working in Dave's heart.

It really was a wonderful thing to wittiness my friends.

I didn't even notice that. I guess that's because while in service I knew quite a few Canadians and was therefore used to the differences.
