Quit competing with Jesus Christ
There’s no way to win
You can’t measure up
You’ve been marred by sin.

Jesus is the perfect model
He’s the perfect man
He’s the Lamb of God
He’s the answer to sin.

He was sent by God
He will return again
He was called the Son of God
He was called the Son of Man.

Religion won’t save you
It won’t free sinful man
The blood of a lamb is needed
To cleanse us from our sin.

Jesus is the Lamb of God
God’s life ran through His veins
Only He can give eternal life
You must be born again.

Good works do not save us
Good sinners still have sin
Good grief, why can’t we see
Only blood can cleanse from sin.

God had the answer
And He sent it to man
He’s waiting for your answer
What about sin?

Don’t bring God good works
Don’t bring Him your sin
Just present yourself as you are
Cleansed from every sin.

Jesus is our Lord and Savior
He’s the answer for every man
He’s the only answer God accepts
What’s your answer, man?
