Psalms 91:3 says, Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.

The Hebrew word for deliver is natsal, which means to snatch something or someone away from a captor, to defend a friend and strip him away from the enemy.

In luke 4:18, the word deliverance has a little different meaning than the above passage. It not only involves snatching someone away from the enemy, but also restoring that which was stolen by the enemy. Jesus stated-The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken hearted; to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind; to set at liberty (free) those who are oppressed (bound);to proclaim the acceptable year (grace, favor, ability) of the Lord.

GOD BLESS
