It all started when I got hooked in this computer. I have internet, games and stuff. I always forgot to pray, do devotions and do assignments! Then suddenly one night,I was tempted tolookintoporn and....You have the idea. I was ashamed and afraid because I realized that I became a prisoner of this machine.

I tried to pray, worship and do devotions but I always felt empty. It was'nt like the old times when I really feel God. I thought that God left me but it is I who left him. I tried and tried but I cannot feel God that stong. It just seem that our communication line is getting thinner till there is no more.

I wanna go back to Him but I can't seem to. Need help and prayer....

Thanks in advance
God Bless

Brother, first let me welcome you to CU.
I know this site is for men only, but once in a while sisters 'peek' as well as brothers 'peek' in the for women only site, we don't mind as we are all here for one another. Yes the internet can be used for good as well as for evil satan is always trying to keep us away from the things of God. You are not the only one with this problem believe  me there are probably thousands of Christians out there who have the same problem. However you realize and accept responsiblilty for your actions. That is the begining of recovery. It is embarassing and humiliating, but once you admit you have a problem with it you can defeat it. You know it is comming from the enemy, you know that God will forgive you if you repent and turn away from it and you know you can count on God's Holy Spirit to help you each and every time you call on Him. You are already on your way to overcomming your problem, you admitted you have a problem, you understand where you went wrong, you have a desire to stop doing wrong, and you have requested prayer. You also know what you need to do to overcome this problem. I am praying for you brother. I am also sure that there are many more brothers and perhaps some sisters that will respond to your post. You might feel more comfortable talking to other men about this so I will probably not post any other replies to you on this topic, but I do want you to know that I am praying for you.
In Christ,
Maria

Amen Sister Maria, it is through God's grace and wonderful power that we can overcome such temptations.

Yes Ira, I will be praying for you also.
