Well, I got brave enough to say hello today. I signed up yesterday but spent the time reading the many fasinating articles. I bumped into this forum quite by accident. While I was looking for christian news.

You seem to have quite the community here, am still getting use to how it all works and where everything is.

Not quite sure how the bible study one works. But I am sure I will get the hang of it.

My spouse and I live in northern Alberta, Canada, and I was quite happy to find such a site. Our children are grown and gone, both live a fair distance from us. So we are entering a new phase of our lives and we both feel God is calling us to a deeper more concentrated walk with Him. Do you know what I mean? Change is coming....

Anyway hope to get to know some of you.
Blessings Quietone

Hello Quiet tone, and welcome to Christians Unite forums. Yes change is coming, and I don't mean the seasons. Grin

Resting in the hands, of the Lord.

Welcome to Christians Unite, Quietone. I am happy you decided to join us. You are right this is quite the community, we enjoy good, clean Christian fellowship, we do a lot of posting in regards to news, and current events, we help each other out when we have questions, and my favorite part is we pray for one another continually. you will find your way around and if you have any questions you can always post it and I'm sure you will get many responses. Please make yourself at home. I hope to see more of you posts. Cheesy

Hi Quietone and welcome!  Cheesy

We are not in the 'empty nest' time yet, though we have been in the 'emptying of the nest' process as our oldest children move on.  Undecided

Sounds like the changes coming will be wonderful for your walk with Him!  Cheesy
