The sexual sins of Sodom and Gormorrah in Lot's time were so gross that men were driven with a passion not only for their own sex but even became disrespectful to the angels who visited Lot.
It is almost unbelievable in our day how those who reject the sexual laws of God have succeeded in making one of the basest of sexual sins-sodomy-respectable and even acceptable.Just a few years ago Hollywood stars kept their personal sex lives (which brought them to an early death) in the closet.But today homosexual are out and demanding their rights.What rights do they demand? The right to marry,the right to cohabit with the sex,the right to teach school,where they c ould influence young minds,the right to adopt children,the right to serve in the militarty-and the list goes on.

Even though their dangerous lifestyle can shorten their expec ted life span by as much as 50 percent,it is considered a hate crime to warn or sspeak out against it.And discrimination against homosexual in job selection or dismissal is a violation of the law.If you refuse to rent your home to a homosexual couple,you are a lawbreaker! The secular world has turned the sexual laws of God upside down.A few years ago American Pschological Association considered homosexual a mental deficiency;now the APA has endorsed it and proposed that their members no longer urge homosexuals to change their sexual lifestyle.

I just saw an article called The Natural "Crime Against Nature" with a subtitle of "A Brief Survey of Homosexual Behaviors In Animals". Does anyone else besides me see the connection here? The article lowers humans to the level of animals comparing us to other animals in so far as behavioral aspects. Animals do it so it is ok for humans to do these same things, after all humans are also an animal. Now where does this line of thought come from?

The Bible teaches quite the opposite. We are not animals. We were created above the animal, to rule over them, not as one of them. Gen 1: 24 - 31. Another thing that distinguishes us from animals is the ability to discern right from wrong (knowledge of good and evil Gen 3:5 - 7).

Many also say that the teachings of the Old Testament do not apply to us today. Sin is still sin even though we are no longer under the law it is still wrong for us to be a part of such (Rom 1).

I must add a few more things:

1 - Animals are not accountable to God - human beings are accountable to God.

2 - Animals are not created in the image of God - human beings are.

3 - Animals do not have a spirit that lives forever in heaven or hell after physical death - human beings do.

ALMIGHTY GOD HIMSELF noted the distinctions and differences between animals an human beings in the CREATION account and throughout the Holy Bible. Animals do not sin because they are NOT accountable to God. Human beings do sin because they ARE accountable to God.

The Holy Bible removes any excuse man may make for sin, and it specifically lists those sins that are an abomination to God. Alternative lifestyles are an abomination to God in the Old Testament and in the New Testament.

In short, the Holy Bible completely removes any possibility that alternative lifestyles are tolerated by ALMIGHTY GOD. Further, the Holy Bible completely removes any possibility that the theory of evolution could be true because animals do NOT have a spirit that is accountable to God.

Animals have no need of JESUS CHRIST as Lord and Saviour. When animals physically die, they simply cease to exist and they are not accountable to anyone. Human beings have a desperate need for JESUS CHRIST as Lord and Saviour. Human beings do NOT cease to exist when they physically die. If a human being dies in their sins without JESUS CHRIST, they will spend eternity in the lake of fire for eternity. JESUS CHRIST died on the Cross for the sins of man, NOT animals. Acceptance of JESUS CHRIST as Lord and Saviour is the only way that man can be rescued from the curse of sin and death. Bluntly and simply, man has a choice of who he or she will serve as master over their lives, the devil or JESUS CHRIST. JESUS CHRIST is our LIVING Lord and Saviour, and having JESUS as THE LORD over our lives is the ONLY way for Salvation. The Law of Faith in JESUS CHRIST will set us free from the curse of sin and death.

Those who are wallowing in the sin of alternative lifestyles just think that they will gain acceptance and toleration of their abomination before God. The laws of man will gain NOTHING for them. Man can't make any laws that will force Christians to call evil good, AND we should all know that ALMIGHTY GOD will never call evil good. There will never be ANY acceptance or toleration of alternative lifestyles by ALMIGHTY GOD. Their only chance for Salvation is to stop what they're doing, accept JESUS CHRIST as Lord an Saviour, confess their sins, and make JESUS THE LORD over their lives.

I have a firm belief about any society that accepts and tolerates alternative lifestyles as good. That society or nation has called evil good and has turned completely away from God.

Isaiah 5:20 NASB  Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

Psalms 33:12 NASB  Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.

In short, I believe that any nation that accepts abominations to ALMIGHTY GOD as being good deserve the wrath and judgment of God.

I love and respect you ~ but I humbly disagree with you that animals don't go to heaven.  I believe they DO!  In fact I think they probably get there before any of us do, as they are completely SINLESS ~ they're LOYAL and only want LOVE.  God is LOVE and I believe that animals are here to remind us of that. IMHO.

I think that we are on two different sets of music. I didn't mean to say anything negative about animals, and I don't think that I did. Man is made up of body, soul, and a spirit that is accountable to God. Animals do have a body and a soul. Maybe the soul of an animal is better described as a personality, but an animal does not have a spirit that is accountable to God because animals were not made in the image of God. This is simply a fact.

I love animals, and I always try to treat them with the kindness that they deserve. If anyone saw how I treat my dogs, they might think that I was crazy and treated them like my children. I realize that animals are quite capable of love, but the fact remains that they don't have a spirit that is accountable to God. They have no need of Salvation, and they lack the consciousness and ability to accept or reject JESUS CHRIST. This goes all the way back to creation and describes the difference between mankind and animals. I'm not aware of any portion of Scripture that addresses heaven, hell, or immortality for any portion of an animal. Regardless, I still don't think that I said anything negative about animals, nor did I intend to say anything bad about animals. If you are aware of any portion of Scripture that addresses heaven, hell, or immortality for animals, I'd like to study it. What happens to an animal after they die?....Nothing that I'm aware of according to the Holy Bible. BUT, it doesn't mean much that I don't know since there's a lot of things that I don't know. There would also be many things that only God knows.

Sister, the only reason that animals even came up in this discussion was people trying to use them as an example to excuse or explain away sin. As you said, animals are incapable of sin, and that's true since they are not accountable to God, nor do they have God consciousness. So, it's wrong to use animals in an attempt to justify human misbehavior. Sister, please don't think that I was trying to say anything mean or bad about animals. YES!, I know that animals have much better behavior than many people I know, so please don't be mad at me. It's also much easier to love animals than many of the people I met in 25 years of police work. In fact, I would prefer rabid skunks or wolves over some of the people I met in police work.

Sister Terri,

I wish that I had seen this first.    I just sent you a lengthy PM that boils down to me loving animals, and almost nothing in the Bible about animals. So, please disregard the PM I sent you. If you saw how I spend the majority of each day, I think that you would laugh. I have one 15 and one 16 year old dog that I treat almost like children. One many times lays his head on my arm while I type, and both of them take old-dog naps usually as close to me as they can get, so whatever room I'm in is like a rest home for dogs.    My wife and I have an empty nest, so most folks would think we treat our dogs like children and spoil them. (Small Print - YES, we do).

Can we write this one off as a misunderstanding and the two of us singing different songs? I was pretty blunt when I mentioned animals in the first post, so I caused the misunderstanding. Could you just throw a coconut cream pie at me and call it even? (Small Print: Home made pie). Just know that I love animals, and I've never been without at least one dog for my entire life. On second thought, could you throw two coconut cream pies at me since both of my old dogs love pie.
