Looking for info on a special song....

An older lady in my bible study class is looking for a particular song. She can only remember a line from it----"standing in the river(may be water}, dying of thirst" is  as close as she recalls.  She is a sweetheart and is generous with her knowledge, I would love to surprise with a recording of this tune if it exists.
