PLEASE pray for our family.
My Aunt is 86 with terminal cancer. My mother is 88 and taking care of her.  I am taking care of them both. My Aunt and mother have moved from their life long homes in one town to where I live to be close the the cancer center. All of our lives have drastically changed. We have a situation with a person in the family that has caused tremendous turmoil and we all all in legal proceeding along with trying to cope with my aunt's cancer. This has been going on for two years and I am the one that carries the load of getting them to doctors, the paperwork, making sure everthing goes right, making all documents are accurate, and keeping with all doctors and appointments . I deal with many people and the burden is almost more than I can bear anymore. Then my husband had by-pass surgery and God spared his life, so I am helping him. I have brothers and a sister and they are fantastic support, but my mom, and I are the hand ons health care givers 24/7.
Please pray that God will end the legal turmoil so that these 80 something brothers and sisters can have peace and harmony during the last years of their lives. Please help me pray that my anger and the fact that I am weary from all the problems, will not cause me to give up on myself as well as the others. I am so tired and worn out.

We need God's mercy. I know that God knows the big picture and I know that there must be something that is not finished yet. But please pray that this two year tumoil will end quickly and give us all strength to see this through.

Grandma, yes I will pray for you, and your family.

Thank you! It has taken me a while to reach out and ask for prayer, even from my own church. I know that is wrong on my part, but I just did not want to burden anyone. I already feel something different within this last few minutes of reaching out.

And guess what??  Our preachers wife just called me while I was writing you all and said that she all of sudden felt a need to call me and the Lord told her I needed prayer!!! Our church worship had been cancelled due to ice and snow this morning. She has never called me out of the blue saying she was told that I needed prayer.  God is Awesome isn't He?

Dear Grandma~

I feel so blessed that you reached out to us for prayer.  I see that you are new to the forum, and what is such the blessing is that I KNOW God sent you to us.

God reached out to you when He sent the Pastor's wife and you said you were writing to us ~ so, at the SAME INSTANT you reached out, He was reaching back!!  THAT IS AWESOME and it tells me that your woes couldn't possibly last much longer ~ you will be rewarded. God showed you His hand today.  There absolutely is power in prayer so as Brother Tom will say: "Keep looking up" and we'll all be praying for you.  Please post often and let us know how you are.

Blessings~

Hi Grandma, My heart was aching for you as I read your post. I watched and helped my mom take care of my grandparents before they died. There seemed to always be turmoil between my mother and her brothers and I seen first hand the stress it put on her. She was the is the only sister with 5 brothersand they never helped her at all. A little different than some of the things you are going through. My mom had to stop working to take care of her parents and her brothers not once helped. She moved my grandparents in with her and my dad and she took care of everything. I watched as she crawled on the floor towards the strecher as they were takeing my grandfather out of her house on the day he died, how it broke my heart. I never thought I would see my own mother like that. Then 3 years later, I was the one sitting beside my grandmothers bed holding her hand when she took her last breath. Other than burying my own daughter when she ws 4 1/2 months old, that was one of the haredest things I have ever went through. You see, my grandmother raised me in my teenage years, so I loved her dearly. My mom did much better this time bc my grandmother prepared her it. You see, she had lung canser and was suffering and my g-mother told my mother to just let her go, she was ready to go home to the LORD.

I can really understand what you are going through and I will be storming heaven for you and your family.
