Thanks Pastor you sound like one proud paw pa, they are a delight to be around and they grow so fast but I left mine up North to come to KY to be with my brother who was dieing from terminal lung disease I could not tell him no. I got to spend a part of every day except two with him for two years then I had to let him go home, He told me many times "Sis I'll be waiting for you down by the river". What precious memories. But My grandchildren understand and they love coming to Ky to.

God Bless

Hello ImBlessed,

WELCOME!

I'm a retired police officer living in Oklahoma. I'm also a proud grandpa, and that's the best job I've ever had. I should have said "fun" instead of "job" (1 grandson age 4 and 1 grandson age 2). I was with them just a few hours ago and hope to spend more time with them over the next couple of days. My daughter and the two grandsons are here visiting from St. Louis, and my (still) single son is here visiting from Florida.

The younger folks do outnumber the grandparents here, but we are a much more dangerous group than they are.  Cheesy  I'm looking forward to reading your posts and having fellowship with you.

Love In Christ,
Tom

1 Corinthians 1:9-10 NASB  God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Sister Penny,

We actually discussed how much God has blessed our family at dinner tonight with my son. I think that it's a good idea for Christians to think about and list things they are thankful for on a regular basis. It sure does make it hard to complain, especially when we consider how difficult things are for Christians in other parts of the world. I like to read Voice of the Martyrs on a regular basis to remind me just how easy we have it as Christians.

God has spoiled us with His riches and blessings, so our hearts should be overflowing with appreciation and love. Our thanksgiving should be every day.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Psalms 73:26 NASB  My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
