Hello

My name is Brenda and I am a christian...I have been through a lot of trials in the past 41/2 years...I lost my oldest daughter 41/2 years ago.. It has been so hard for me to get my life back together...But through the help of God and all of my friends, I think I am doing really good...I think about her everyday...I miss her so much...Anyway, enough about that...I am married and I have a 20 year old daughter that is living at home...I am raising my granddaughter..She is 4..She will be 5 in June...Sge belongs to my daughter who passed away..I am a member of two other christian sites, but when I saw ChristiansUnite, I had a strong feeling to join..I am assuming God was leading me here...Anyway, I am glad to be here and hope to grow in spirit with all of you...God Bless Each of You..

Hello Brenda, and welcome to Christians Unite forums. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter. There are quite a few other grand parents here. Nope, I'm not one of them though........

Hi sunset,

Welcome to Christians Unite. There are a great bunch of Christians here that love fun fellowship and worship. Jump right in and join us in it.

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter, it is so hard to loose one of our children. I am blessed that I haven;t had to go through that myself but I do understand what it would do to me if it were to happen.

Grandchildren are such a blessing. I am glad to hear that you are taking care of the little one. I am a grandfather of five and I love every second that I get to be with them.

I am so sorry for your loss and I can't even begin to imagine your pain! I'm glad your granddaughter has you! You'ill be able to help her *know* her mother through the eyes of love!
I'd love to hear more about your daughter, if you're up to *talking* about her! What was she like?
It sounds like you are doing well! To me, just "keeping on" sounds like an enormous achievement!

Brenda if you belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, you are our sister, we love you and welcome you as our sister. That is what is so wonderful in this forum, we are united through Christ Jesus, and we show love towards one another. I am pleased to know that you feel welcome, it warms my heart. To tell you a little about myself, I am Maria, I have 4 grown children the youngest is 24, oldest is 36, I have 14 grandchildren and I am raising my 2 stepdaughters both are teenagers.

Hello Sister Brenda! You have found a WONDERFUL forum to share your joy, your grief, your life. The Christians here are all supportive and loving to one another and I for one am very blessed to be here. I'm sorry that you lost a beloved daughter, I can't even IMAGINE the pain.... I have lost people I love, but I know there's nothing like the love between mother and child. I'm glad you know Jesus and have the strength of His love to help you through your grief ~ and Praise the Lord that you have your grandbaby, a bit of love left behind. I hope you come back and post often; we'd all love to get to know you better.... a little about me: I'm 44 years old and married for the second time. I never had children. I'm an animal lover and tend to take in strays. I gave my life to Jesus about four years ago and I've been walking in His joy ever since. I look forward to hearing from you again.
