The American Movement
«

Joh 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
There is a movement in America that has gotten a firm hold on us. This movement has blurred the lines between what is right and what is wrong. This movement says that good is evil and evil is good. This movement is called political correctness. It takes the evil desires of people and labels them under new and nice-sounding titles. It takes child pornography and calls it art. It says pre-marital sex is ok as long as it is "safe". It says people can cuss and be lewd and bash Christianity, because of freedom of speech.
We live in a time when people refuse to take responsibility for their own actions. We love to blame it on someone else. Well, I do this because my parents or what is worse they say, there is nothing wrong with this. People have hardened their hearts in the name of freedom, true freedom doesn't come from following sin. Sin traps us and makes us victims of it.
As Christians, it's more important than ever for us to know what is right and know what is wrong. We like to accept Jesus as our saviour, but we dont like the whoel part of our salvation. We need to dig into Gods word and find out how He wants us to live, so we can be examples to others. This world is hurting more than ever. Political correctness has given people a good sounding reason to be what sinful desires want them to be, but political correctness doesnt offer the freedom that it promised. It has only trapped us more.
It's wrong to be gay, it's wrong to cheat on your spouse, it's wrong to divorce, it's wrong to cuss, it's wrong to worship other gods, such as Allah and Buddha. It's wrong to blend in with the world's way of doing things. Subconsciously, people know this and that's why they are trapped because they don't know the truth. The truth is that it's wrong, but the bigger truth is that God loves the people who are doing this and wants them to come to Him. He molded each one of us together in His own hands, making us in His image. God loves the doctors who perform abortions, He loves the people who get abortions. He loves everyone, no matter what sins they are committing. God offers these people freedom, but they have to know the truth. They have to know. We have to tell them. We have the right to proclaim the truth of the gospel, after all, we do have Freedom of speech, Satan's using it, we should too.

AMEN PASTOR ROGER!
I was just thinking about the irony of our circumstances. Like it or not, America was founded by Christians for a Christian nation. Generations of Christians fought and died for religious freedom, freedom of speech, and all of the other freedoms that we enjoy. And now, it appears that everyone has freedom of speech except Christians. As usual, the devil has turned things upside-down and inside-out.
YES, Christians have freedom of speech and freedom of religion according to the Constitution, but it appears that we must fight for it again. Christians should demand and claim their rights. The battle won't be pleasant because the devil wants all of us to shut up, sit down, and go away.
I say NO!! May God help us to stand, proclaim His Word, and do His Will until He comes to take us home.
Love In Christ,
Tom

Sometimes I have the urge to stand on a street corner ~ bible in hand, screaming:
"Jesus is coming, are you ready?!?!"
but unfortunately I would probably be carted off by the men in white coats. So I witness when I know the other person is receptive (and responsive). I don't know if I've ever lead anyone to Jesus but someday when I face Him I can tell Him that I'd tried. When I was about 5-years-old, not only did we pray in school but we said the
Pledge of Allegiance
as well.
"Sunday Go To Meetin'"
was a family affair as were the picnics afterward. Christmas and Easter were "holy" days at my house ~ where
Jesus was the Guest of Honor
. But all that was when I was a
KID
. . . slowly over the past 40 years, society has de-sensitized itself to the evil one.
Good grief!
Now that I think about it, I've been a living
"eye-witness"
to years of steady moral decline... I was born in 1961 so I saw the decade of
hippies, free love, drugs, sex and rock & roll, Woodstock and Viet Nam
. The seventies:
Disco, free love, drugs, sex and rock & roll, shacking up, cocaine, Jim Jones and still, war.
The eighties:
Rap and Hip-Hop, Punk Rock, girl bands, Madonna, drugs, sex and rock & roll, heroine, drug lords, political correctness, gay pride and Desert Storm.
The nineties:
Gangsta Rap, devil worship, trans-genders, ADHD, child pornography.
2000's: ALL THIS
PLUS
9/11.
That's just what's off the top of my head; I'm no political mental giant, all I know is what's going on in the"streets" at home. It hasn't escaped my pea brain that with every new election and every new generation, God is slowly being pushed out the door. It makes me feel sad when I think of man's inhumanity to man
(and don't get me started on man's inhumanity to ANIMALS!).
It all must make God feel sad too. Everybody suffers and
He suffers along with us.
"The American Movement" is moving America straight into hell. While I fantasize about screaming His name in the street, I'm also praying for Him to come soon.
Imagine the
JOY
on that day ~
the clouds will open and
He will appear with His arms spread wide open to receive us.
He will take us to His heart and we will dissolve in His love
.... that's right,
dissolve!
We will be a living part of Him finally, for erternity ~
it's our
REWARD
for sticking it out down here!
Blessings~
Terri

Amen Sister Terri!
I love the way you described the Rapture. You have a beautiful writing style. One of my favorite things is to
KEEP LOOKING UP!
It could even be today.
Love In Christ,
Tom

Amen Sister Terri,
I am so grieved to see how our beloved America has changed. I am 57 years young and I have seen all that you have and I even remember when we used to forget to lock our doors at night, when teenagers respected their neighbors, teachers, and elders. I remember when stores and bars were closed on Sundays. I remember when cussing was so bad you didn't even dare to say the word
stupid
within anyone's hearing range. Terri, life has changed so much, and marality has declined so that it makes my heart heavy. I remember when neighbors wouldn't let a day go by without checking up on each other, now no one hardly even knows their neighbor's names. It is sad to say, but you are right society has become desinsitized, and has lost all morality. Today all people think about is " me me me". Today everyone wants to have an opinion and they won't even admit that there is a God Whose opinion is the only one that matters. As you say, thank God for the rapture.

A Christian band named A.D. called it "Backward Progress".
One of the saddest things is it's happening with some Christians too.
Used to, if I or someone else was not at church like we normally were, a person would take it upon themself to call & make sure the absent person did not need anything & say they were missed & would be prayed for.
This hasn't happened to me nor in my sight or to my knowledge IN YEARS.
