Half right. Luke. He wrote this gospel for Gentiles, emphasizing that Jesus' message was for the world, tracing Jesus' ancestry to Adam, father of the human race. Matthew wrote to Jewish readers, tracing Jesus' ancestry to Abraham, father of that nation. |

I think that you're on a roll. Hosea. During the downfall of Israel, Hosea reminded his nation of their history, beginning with their "childhood" sojourn and exodus from Egypt (11:1), paralleling the events in the Messiah's childhood. |

Crime #1 ...... Theft ........
The victim claimed that certain statues were stolen around the same time that his two daughters, his son-in-law, and his grandchildren left town. When the suspects were searched, the criminal sat on the stolen evidence to conceal it.

The perpetrators imprisoned the victim in a cistern where he nearly starved to death. Their motive was to deny him the right to proclaim God's word.

The suspect, a well-known sorcerer, resorted to bribery in an attempt to gain the power to lay hands on people and have them receive the Holy Spirit.

Although the suspect, a slave, stole from his master before running away, a reliable evangelist testified that the culprit was a changed man. The preacher offered to pay back what the suspect had stolen.
