I was told yesterday that it was "Hamas". I was wondering if it was the same Hamas like the title of the Muslim Brotherhood.
"Hamas", Arabic acronym for Islamic Resistance Movement, means enthusiasm, fire, zeal, fanaticism.

Does Cherethites mean the running assassin?
Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger. Zephaniah 2:4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Zephaniah 2:5 Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.
The word Cherethites in Hebrew is kerêthîy and it means in the sense of executioner; a Kerethite or life guardsman.

The Cherethite were Philistine soldiers who served loyally in David’s army.
The Cherethites were “a people who were settled alongside the Philistines in southern Palestine [see 1 Samuel 30:14; Ezekiel 25:16; Zephaniah 2:5]. In the reign of David they formed, with the Pelethites, his private bodyguard under the command of Benaiah the son of Jehoida [see 2 Samuel 8:18; 20:23; 1 Chronicles 18:17]. They remained loyal to him through the rebellions of Absalom [see 2 Samuel 15:18] and Sheba [see 2 Samuel 20:7], and were present when Solomon was anointed for kingship [see 1 Kings 1:38, 44].” (J. D. Douglas, ed., The New Bible Dictionary, s.v. “Cherethites.”)
So this shows us that they were bodyguards not assassins.

What prominent Old Testament character rescued some young women from surly shepherds?
Exodus 2:17-19 17 The shepherds came and drove them away; but Moses stood up and helped them and watered their flock. 18 And when they came to Reuel [Jethro] their father, he said, How is it that you have come so soon today? 19 They said, An Egyptian delivered us from the shepherds; also he drew water for us and watered the flock.

Another one right.

The "Bible comes from th Egyptian word for parchment, byblos. The Greek word biblios means books or scrolls. Later, it was translated into Latin, biblia, meaning "book." It is a library--ta biblia, which means "the books." In this Bible library, as in any library, you will find a variety of books--prose, poetry, songs, prayers, history, folklore, sagas, wisdom, letters, parables, proverbs, prophecy, etc, ect.. Quoted from Pastor Hagee: Best Instruction Before Leaving Earth Genesis 7:9 There went in two and two with Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
Genesis 7:15 And they went into the ark with Noah, two and two of all flesh in which there were the breath and spirit of life. Fellowshipping with a Jehova Witness a few years back got me on that one too. The word Cherethites in Hebrew is kerêthîy and it means in the sense of executioner; a Kerethite or life guardsman. Thanks for checking your resources and the extra information. And Hamas, Arabic acronym for Islamic Resistance Movement was more info than I needed to know.

Jesus rose from the dead on what day of the week?
Since theres are so many verses............ The Bible is clear that Jesus was crucified on the Passover, Friday, then buried later that Friday afternoon or evening before the Sabbath Saturday began, and then rose from the dead the first day of the week Sunday.

Another correct one: Mar 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Where in the Bible does God tell Jerusalem that there would be an end to their feasts and sabbaths? Leviticus 26:33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. Leviticus 26:34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.

Sometimes, I'm not quite sure what is wanted. Each of us, have something different we are looking for. Quoted from Pastor Hagee: Best Instruction Before Leaving Earth Nope, from the books of, Charles Merrill Smith, John B Gabel, Anthony D York, and Charles B Wheeler
