Oklahoma Howdy to All,

I haven't been on much the last couple of days. I have a raging case of the flu. Just wondering, CAN TURKEY GIVE YOU THE FLU?   Grin   Grin

So far, turkey was the last thing I was able to eat. If I survive, I'll let you know.   Grin

Love In Christ,
Tom

Undecided Hm, there might be something in that! I've been waking up lately with sore throat, stomach, etc...and only after Thanksgiving...That's it. We're having ham next year instead.  Grin

How ya feelin', BEP? We're counting on you to tell us more fun stories and Biblestudies and Christmas trinket shopping must-haves! So you have to recover quickly.

Wow! BEP had Turkey Flumbe for Thanksgiving!  Undecided

Oklahoma Howdy to Whitehorse,

Thanks, I'm getting better every day, and believe me it was "turkey something", what I don't know. I understand there is a really bad strain of the flu that is getting ready to hit the US that is much worse. I hope that I get well enough to take the flu shot first.   Grin

Um?, I bet you are wondering why I didn't already get the flu shot. My doctor was out of them. I found a place that is never out of the vaccine now. The version I had was no fun at all, but I understand the version about to hit is killing people. Run, don't walk, and take the flu shot.

Here's the perfect gift for the man who has everything: a folding map of the world - FULL SCALE!   Grin I want one.

In Christ,
Tom

Hehe! I almost spit up a lung on that one! I like the fullscale map. I don't have one of those, but I do have a brand new satellite still sitting in the back yard, waiting to be shipped to Mr Christian's Neighborhood. Would the satellite make a good substitute?  Grin

Oklahoma Howdy to Whitehorse,

Grin   Grin  The satellite will do fine, but only after you get it into orbit for us.   Grin

Whitehorse, how do we pronounce "flumbe"?  Embarrassed

bep, how did the turkey get in the hospital?

(flu--- Grin)

Um, speaking of the flu, maybe this is not a good thread to use the kiss  Kiss  symbol.

You know, come to think of it, I've never seen anyone here use that symbol.

Hmmm.  'Wonder why.  Roll Eyes

Flum-bee? Floom-bay? Is this a new word? Does it have something to do with plumbing or toothpaste?  Huh

Heehee! The flumbe is a takeoff on flambe (meaning, served on fire); I just thought it would be fun to make it a play on words.

 Cool

Hope you're feeling a lot better, BEP!
