Hey all you cat lovers. Do you want a cat? I'll pay you! Well not seriously, but I want to get rid of em. We took in a cat that had kittens, now we have 6 cats on top of the 4 that we have already. It seems that when someone is interested in them then something comes up and we are back to square one. I tried all of the no kill animal shelters and they are full. I'm not giving to the humiane society they are a little needle happy. I don't know what to do.

Well... I am "kitty-sitting" for a lady while she recovers from surgery...she has 23 cats. (HAD 23.) There are 8 regular sized litter boxes and two kiddie swimming pools of litter, and all of them are full every day. Sometime last week a kitty broke a screen, and now there are 18 cats...at least six of which had to be rounded up, kicking and screaming, from the woods (where they actually might have been happier, lol!) There, I hard-heartedly made your big problem look smaller! What to do? Put a "free kittens" sign out front? Maybe go to unlocked vehicles while the owners are busy, and hide a kitty in the backseat? (we used to do that with zucchini, and it worked pretty well.) |
