No doubt the JW's do have some far out doctrine, and their rejection of the Trinity is rather odd, but having actually read some of the literature they pass out, they certainly seem to have their hearts in the right place (Jesus).

I'll think there will be some suprises when all Christians meet up in heaven.

Their rejection of the Trinity and Jesus as God is more than "rather odd" it is a first class ticket to the Lake of Fire.
They have rewritten God's Word even though God gives specific and dire warnings in the final verses of Revelation not to mess with it.
Here's what will become of such as these.

Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

Hi Abbotsham,
Welcome to ChristiansUnite, where the Blood of God has set us free from the death-grip of sin.

Tell us more about JW beliefs:

Is Jesus Christ God?
Who are the 144,000 in Revelation?
What works are required for one to measure up?

Abbotsham,
Jesus Christ is God. Support of anything else is not allowed on this forum. Jehovah's Witnesses do not recognize this fact therefore support of Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs are not allowed on this forum.

Disrespect, mockery, or blasphemy of Almighty God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Bible, and Christianity are not permitted here. This would include the user name, anything in the user's profile, anything the user might post, and links to other sites that contain such material. Prohibited material obviously includes cursing, profanity, and "fill-in-the-blank" messages that suggest this material. Prohibited material also includes promotion or defense of alternate lifestyles, other religions, atheism, humanism, or other beliefs that are contrary to the teachings of the Holy Bible. Material of such types will be edited or deleted and the user may be banned. These and other rules posted by the Administrator of Christians Unite are final and not subject to debate.

ON FIRE FOR THE LORD!

I too, have always believed that JW's are a CULT!  My husband (though he now claims to be a nonbeliever) was a practicing JW for 15 years (long before I married him).  He never did believe that Jesus is God and he didn't believe in the Trinity.  Now he doesn't believe at all.  From what he's told me about this "church", there are people in it that decide whether or not someone can attend their meetings, they have to go door knocking or they get kicked out.  If a JW marries someone who's not, the JW gets kicked out.  If a JW gets 'caught' drinking coffee they get kicked out ... etc etc ... seems like a JW has to meet a curriculum before they can join!

I attend a "nondenominational church" and it is the Lord's house - everbody is welcome!!

JW's absolutely ARE a CULT and when I see them coming I close my door; it has a sign posted on it "NO WITNESSING" and even that doesn't stop them sometimes.  Just what bible do they read?  Nothing they teach is in MY bible!

Blessings -
