You did ask for comments on your pastor's opinion:

He didn't ask for comments on his pastor.

Quote
"Would you agree or disagree with his assessment?"
was the question.....
Which is exactly what Tibby did.  He ridiculed the pastor's opinion.

Old age was "institutionalized" in 1935, with Social Security.

Sickness or health is likewise in many western countries, as socialized medicine.  Hillary Clinton a champion of that here in US.

Animal rights with even pet cemetarys another example.

Similarly, as JN's company illustrates, care for our evironment--which there is certainly biblical examples of--
now becoming a "dictation".

This theme is varied, but reflects the same definition of "control".  All you do to control people, is first get them where they're weak, that is, offer to fill that void, and show them how letting you help them fill that void, will be better for "everyone"--Social security b/c we all grow old, health care b/c we all get sick, "Earth Day" b/c humans tend to pollute...

And with animal rights you can see where they're going with that one--esp. if Israel reinstates animal sacrifice.   Lips Sealed

Redemption back to God was "institutionalized" by Jesus as His once for all ransom and propitiation for sin given to whosoever shall come to Him in faith. Animal sacrifices will be blasphemy,(animal rights aside), to God and the giving of His Christ.

Judgenot, You claimed to be “interested in knowing what others here at ChristiansUnite think,” you asked if we “agree or disagree with his assessment,” and you closed with a one word request for our thoughts. Huh Undecided

You should have told me ahead of time you only want the thoughts that agree with your pastor. Grin Kiss

Mr. Tibbs – sorry for the confusion.
I honestly don’t love you any less – and yes, you are absolutely correct; I should have made it clear that I was looking for opinions on the opinion – not opinions on the character of the one with the opinion.
Now – how unclear is that?  What did I just say?
I’m confused – time to go away again for a while…
