The angel spoke to a nobody like me a this is what is now recorded forever;
Luke 2:11
For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a savior which is Christ the Lord.
That says it all,
unto you, that means me.
Born in the city of David; the one who will rule forever.
A savior: I needed a Savior
Christ the Lord: I needed this Savior, the Annointed one.
For unto me was born over two thousand years ago in the Kings city a new King who is the real king and he is the Christ, He is the Lord and He was born to save me. He came so I could be with him in the new city of the King.

HI Ollie,
Thanks for your scrpiture. I was looking up scripture we covered in Chruch today and came upon Psalm 34, I loved it so I will share it with all of you. It's fits today perfect being Sunday and a day or worship..
Psalm 34: 1-7
I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
And Let us exalt His name together.
I sought the Lord. and He answered me.
And delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces shall never be ashamed.
This poor man cried and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him. And rescue them.
The best part of this scripture is when we call on Him, God hears and answers and forgives and we have nothing to be ashamed of, he will continue to make us new and whole again. This is Greaaaaat!
Hope everyone has a good Sunday
Surrounded in Gods Love

Be still and know that I am God.Psalms 46:10.
God wants to be our guide thru every moment of every day, to be the center of everything we say and do, and be with us everywhere we go, but how often do we miss the gentle nudges He gives us, because we do not still our own thoughts, waste precious time trying to come up with answers to our own prayers, or are too busy struggling to figure out solutions to our problems. I am determined not to miss anything he wishes to do for me or to give to me, simply because I did not believe it possible, or wasn't looking, or was too busy with my own thoughts and duties to be listening when he spoke. "My sheep know my voice," said Jesus, "and they follow me." When He leads us beside still waters, and nothing seems to be happening, and that mountain doesnt look like its going to move, it`s then He desires for us to be still, that we quiet our hearts and minds, and listen. GOD IS GOD. He has the answers to all lifes questions, He knows what we need to say or what we need to do to resolve every situation, He even knows how to reach that person you cannot seem to reach. How oft does He find us not listening?

11 And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake
12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 1 Kings 19:11-12 (King James Version)
We expect God to get our attention with a shout or a monumental event, but God doesn’t always move mountains when He speaks. Contrary, God often whispers when He speaks to us. That being the case, how can we hear what God’s saying if we don’t take the time to listen?
God wants us to take time away from our hectic lives and spend it with Him. Our world is full noise: traffic, radios, TVs, friends, family and even our own thoughts batter the silence. Noise becomes addictive; it’s difficult for us to be without it. Those of us who live in the city have lost our understanding of what quiet means.
God calls us back to rest in Him. In Him, we’ll find peace. In Him, we’ll find comfort. In Him, we’ll be refreshed. In Him, our perspectives will be reshaped. In Him, our tears are wiped away. In Him, our hurts are healed. In Him is life.
