 Cheesy

First and foremost, I belong to Jesus Christ, and HE is the LORD over my life. Some descriptions and labels are confusing, so I will be clear and say that Jesus Christ is Almighty God, and HE died on the Cross for my sins. I believe that completely and have asked Jesus Christ to come into my heart. HE has forgiven my sins, and HIS Blood bought and paid for me. I have been rescued, saved, BORN AGAIN, and belong to HIM forever. My citizenship is in Heaven, not this world, and I wait with joy to be taken HOME to spend eternity with joy and peace IN JESUS.

Other than that, I'm a retired and disabled police officer. I love the LORD and give thanks for many blessings the LORD has given me, including a Christian family and grandchildren. Many of our regular users are probably visiting family or on trips during the Christmas holidays, but we have many sweet Christian people here to have fellowship with.

I see that you are new, and I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Well. Thanks for the introduction. Kewl. I am new. So far I am enjoying Christians Unite. I haven't encountered anything that scares me too much. I see you have Romans as part of your signature? Romans is awesome. It's my favorite book. You were a police officer huh? Well, I'll leave that one alone. It's nice to meet you. Smiley

Well, I am a disabled Christian, & I'm American. I'm a widower, since Feb., 2001 (not looking). Both of my children are young adults. I have no grandchildren, I pray that my kids don't make me one for a while. I look after my late wifes mother, when her kids don't take her for the holidays.

I have 4 cats, which are my children now. Anything else just ask, or PM me.

Resting with the Lord.

Welcome to CU,

I am a disabled Christian, a retired Veteran (U.S. Navy), ordained twice, currently one of two Pastors of a veteran/military forum.

I have a wife who is also disabled, a 17 yr old son still at home, a daughter (also handicapped) and son that are married and two grandchildren (one boy, 1 yr old and girl, 2 yrs old). Both of my sons are studying to be ministers.

I have an American Rat Terrior that is my helper and 2 cats that are just lap warmers.

I had a biological brother who is in the navy. or at least the last I knew he was. He was/is? on the USS Abraham Lincoln. But I don't know where he is. Rat Terrior huh? I got bit by one. Stupid little yippie dogs. We have a wolf-shepherd hybrid, a mutt, and a basset/blue heeler mix. Her name is also Freak. Smiley

Sapphire: well I'll be sure to avoid you like the plague then. Thanks for the warning!

I'm sorry to hear you got bit by a rat terrier. It sounds like it wasn't trained properly. My little rat terrier hasn't bitten anyone. He just licks them to death. Buster is his name and as I said he is my helper. He fetches things for me that I can't reach, turns ceiling lights on and off for me. If I fall asleep at night before turning the TV off he even does that before he jumps into bed next to me.

If you are interested in finding where your brother is let me know. I am sure I can help there.

Thanks for the offer, but I know not to go where I'm not wanted.

It sounds like your dog is very well trained. Our wolf is trained in Korean. His name is Nukdai. (Korean for "wolf" for those of you who don't know). He, and our mutt, Max are my protectors. They protect me from bad people. So they are my heros. The rat terrier that bit me also bit 2 other people in the same week. He attacked a woman who was jogging, and  bit a 5 year old on the head. The owners had to go to court. Don't know what happened to the dog. Police said they had been to that house before for other things, so the dog probably wasn't trained at all.
