When served I can take or leave canned peaches. For some reason, tho, in the can, at room temperature(not refrigerated), they're just the best. I luv canned peaches when you eat them right outta the can.

Hmmm. Sincereheart said: You like 'em the way John Wayne did in one of those movies.... I'm not gonna tell you which one right now, though. K, the movie is:
Big JakeWalllllllll, I don't know there Pilgrim, but IIIIIIII think somebody here likes to see The Duke strut his stuff. (...l'il impersonation of John Wayne for the young'ns here... ). Yes, tony, I'll take'm anyway too. Actually, I think peaches prolly are in the Bible, 'cuz the peach originates from Iran(known I blieve as "the Persian plum", and Susa was where Ester was Queen, and Susa's in western Iran and I'm almost SURE she must certainly have had some and given some to Mordecai waiting out at the front gate, don'tcha think? You have to read between da lines--which is how the Bible was INTEENDED to be read, BTW... But tanks for the revelation on Song of Sol and apples, Shylynne...et.al. too....

I like to do a lot of home canning. Home canned peaches are the best! Not to mention, I am hypoglycemic and I can use fake sugar when I can them. Unfortunately, I haven't found any good peaches in Indiana for the last 2 years. Makes home canning kind of hard.
I did win a blue ribbon a few years ago for my home canned peaches and peach jam.
