Walllllllll, I don't know there Pilgrim, but IIIIIIII think somebody here likes to see The Duke strut his stuff.
(...l'il impersonation of John Wayne for the young'ns here... )."Monsieur, You ARE a lulu!" "Somebody here" is not a John Wayne fan. "Somebody here" suffers from the forced watching of John Wayne movies! *checks for spouse* *all clear* But 'tis okay! John Wayne's the best to fall sleep to! Actually, I think peaches prolly are in the Bible, 'cuz the peach originates from Iran(known I blieve as "the Persian plum", and Susa was where Ester was Queen, and Susa's in western Iran and I'm almost SURE she must certainly have had some and given some to Mordecai waiting out at the front gate, don'tcha think? Now there's a theory! Peach-hater! ROFL!

Symph, you're mixing up your Bible verses. "Then she took some of the fruit thereof, and ate; and gave it to the man also, who was nearby, and he ate. Then their eyes were opened..."

Good one, Willowburch. But.....the Tree of Forbidden Fruit COULD have been a peach tree... Genesis 2: 9. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.It was a knowledge of good and evil tree. The fruit had to be knowledge of good and evil. Ollie
