Love and Judgment

The Lord Jesus loves every person; those persons in the womb and those persons in the prisons, those persons who love Him and those persons who don’t recognize Him. He loves the prophets no more than he loves the murderer. He loves the atheist no less than the pastor. He loves me no less than He loves you. He loves you no more than He loves me. He loves the black man no more than He loves the white man. He loves the American no more than He loves the Iranian. He loves the Christian no more than He loves the Buddhist.
Every person on earth is His child. If any father gave favor to any child, then he would be a bad father. Our Father is perfect in every way.
To love one another less than our Father loves us is not favorable in His eyes. Would you like me to post scripture to back that up? OK – I formally post the entire Bible – beginning to end. Read that post – from beginning to end.
Be what our Father wants us all to be. Be what our Father created us to be. Speak out against sin. Judge the actions of sin. Do not judge the hearts of your brothers and sisters. Only God sees and judges what is in the heart – we only see and judge actions. Judging actions is acceptable in the eyes of our Lord, for we are commanded to do so. Judging the everlasting life of our brothers and sisters is not acceptable to Him – only He has the power of eternal judgment. Would you like me to post scripture to back that up? OK – I formally post the entire Bible – beginning to end. Read it – from beginning to end – then read it again.
Will everyone He loves be with Him through eternity? In my dreams it will happen, but sadly, so many will fall short. Those who do not love Him and do not love others as He loves us will fall short. Do you want me to post scripture to back that up? OK – I post the entire New Testament – beginning to end. Read it.
I considered posting this in the “Debate” section, but it is not open to debate. It is His Word. Would you like me to post scripture to back that up?
I love you each and all – everyone. Lord forgive me of my shortcomings - they are so many, and forgive my brothers and sisters. Write your Word to our hearts, Lord. We pray it in Jesus name. Amen.

Good post! That is how we love each other, through forgiveness.
It's so good to be with BA believers again! I keep going to the atheist forums to witness but it just shows me that "No one can come to the Father unless the Father draws him." I'm now beginning to see just how few in number BA Christians are! It's very sad and sometimes very lonely. But I wouldn't change it for anything!

Oklahoma Howdy to JudgeNot,
AMEN BROTHER!! I'm trying to imagine what would be possible if we all had the love of Jesus Christ in our hearts. This sad and dark world needs to see the light of God's love in all of us.
1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
I couldn't help but think of the Sunday School song, "This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine."
I pray that God will give us many opportunities to help the lost find the LIGHT.
Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Love In Christ,
Tom

This is very good and all but how can you "speak out against sin" and judge not at the same time?

Do not judge the hearts of your brothers and sisters.
Who are our brothers and sisters?
Are they the ones that have a personality that we find most pleasing? Are they the ones who can use bigger words and more subtle put-downs? Are they the ones with the best grammar? Or are they the religious churched people that my Lord spoke so harshly to?

GraffitiThought, Welcome to C-Unite!
There is a huge difference in judging actions by weighing evidence (juries do it daily) and reading one’s thoughts and judging them to everlasting death. Only God has the authority to do the later.
For instance, depending on how old you are, you may remember a guy known as “Son of Sam” – a serial killer named David Berkowitz. Mr. Berkowitz was caught and judged through the evidence against him and found guilty. He admits his guilt. He admits he deserves the punishment handed him – in fact, he believes he should have received the death penalty. However, Mr. Berkowitz now has one of the most famous prison ministries there is – and it is a true ministry, not a fake one to attempt to gain freedom or forgiveness for the crimes he committed. He has said he doesn’t deserve to be out of prison. Now he is responsible for leading hundreds or maybe even thousands to Christ.
Now I put to you – for his crimes he is rightly being punished. But, should it be man’s call whether he spends eternity in hell, or should that be God’s decision? What do you think God’s decision will be?

I formally post the entire Bible – beginning to end. Read it – from beginning to end – then read it again.
LOL! I daresay that would make a difference!
Also, pray always and be filled with the spirit!
Isa 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; thy spirit [is] good;
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them].
Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.

Greetings SH!
To me, I have brothers and sisters in Christ – those who I fellowship with; but ultimately my brothers and sisters are everyone – all 6 billion. In God’s eye, even Sadam is my brother (although, in my opinion, not a shining example of humanity).
If I were to be on the jury to decide his fate, I would vote for the death penalty, but the final judgment for him is God’s.
I like having a huge family.
Ultimately I don’t agree with all of them, but name me one person who ever lived who did not, at one time or another, show or express anger at a brother or sister?

Luke 10:
29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"
..........
36 "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"
37 The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him."
Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."
Matthew 12:
46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, "Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you."
48 He replied to him, "Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers. 50
For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother
and sister and mother."

John 8:42-45
42
Jesus said
unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Hm. If you consider my answer
"There is a huge difference in judging actions by weighing evidence (juries do it daily) and reading one’s thoughts and judging them to everlasting death."
as complete avoidance, then I don't know the words in the english language I need to communicate with you effectively. Oh, well.

For Christians it does happen - daily and continually. It is an "acquired ability" - an ability a Christian has which comes with Grace, Peace, Faith, Hope and Charity. I don't approve of the actions of the alcoholic bum on the street, but I pray for his soul and hope for his fellowship in heaven.
Possibly you could talk to your pastor or priest about it. I'm sure he could explain it to you in a way you can understand it.
May Grace be yours,

1 John 2:5. But whoso
keepeth his word,
in him verily
is the love of God perfected:
hereby know we that we are in him.
1 Corinthians 2:15. But
he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16. For
who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Some Bible thoughts on the topic.

It is important to know the difference between OBSERVATION and CONDEMNATION, or DISCERNMENT and CONDEMNATION.
