What are some lessons, as a man, you've been learning lately?
I've been learning to keep my mouth SHUT('cept on these boards, hehe). I've been learning that everything is in the power of the tongue. That I just need to ZIP IT. To SHUDUP. To listen. To ask question first, shoot later--or not shoot at all.

Oklahoma Howdy to Symphony, I think you are on your way. However, you did miss a few very important points. 1. Women are in charge. 2. Don't argue with women. 3. When you are in their presence, ask if you can speak. 4. If you feel like arguing, go back to rule number one. In Christ, Tom

Oklahoma Howdy to All,
I wanted to offer a bit of clarification on my last message.
I DO WEAR THE PANTS IN MY FAMILY!
However, my wife tells me which pair to wear and where I can wear them.
In Christ,
Tom

Hmmm. Well, anyway, I guess no one else out there is learning any lessons, huh.
Here's one: "If a man speaks in the forest, and there's no lady around to hear him, is he still wrong?"
(hehe)

Yes because women can suddenly attain super hearing powers when men say something they don't like. Try it sometime. Say something they don't care about and they will tell you they didn't hear you then as you walk away in a quiet voice say something that would tick them off. I bet they hear you!!

Saved_4ever .... Thank you...ROFL.. you were the one this morning on this forum who managed to make me literally LOL.. your reply was hysterical,, just so you know,, thats called selective hearing, females do this to block out what we feel isnt worth the effort to listen to LOL Now on other hand,, men do this , simply cause they are of the MALE species hehe AHH i gots to admit, there are some pretty cool males on CU tho, maybe there are a few exceptions to the rule Hey Blue.. Good idea for a thread,, Seems there aint to many men learning to much LOL.. hmm seems to me that might be proof of some points women been making for years ok BEP.. I DO WEAR THE PANTS IN MY FAMILY Oh man, my friend.. so glad you cleared that up,, Thinking ,, after seeing ya, that dresses wouldnt be suiting ya very well,,, Now theres a mental pic and headline.... Retired Police officer caught wearing his wifes dresses

If you laughed (literally) at my joke then you couldn't be a womens liber. I have known enogh of them. I am always learning something but the thread took a light hearted turn so i felt to keep with it. I have learned a lot in a short span of time and I posted pre-satan attack . I haved learned that I always need to trust in the LORD at ALL times. He will provide just as He promised. I have also learned the more I let go the easier the ride is. I am currently not ith my son, yet I see him every weekend. While fighting with his mother I have learned that even though she has him 4 days out of the week he is still much more "loving" to me. I never thought I could learn so much so fast. He's only 18 months but he's a little too smart sometimes. I prayed that my son would not "forget" me or not know me and the LORD has answered my prayers as he always has a big smile on his face when I see him. I cherish the times when he falls asleep on me or when he just wants to sit and read a book or watch TV. I find it quite humorous that he now thinks that as longas he gives me a kiss whatever wrong he did is now corrected. Although I am a tough dad because it doesn't work and the little pouty lips and stuff have no effect on me anymore. As far as the super hearing I know both sexes do it. Funny though how much crap we have to take when we don't find something you say "important".
