Rev 3:10  10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

Now the word that is translated from is the word 'ek' which is defined the Enhanced Strong's Lexicon as ek: prep  A primary preposition denoting origin (the point whence action or motion proceeds), from, out (of place, time, or cause)

In other words it denotes a point of origin where action or motion proceeds to some other place or time.  Examples would be coming out of a house, moving out of one year into another, or a cause as in being pulled out of a war.  Whether you are talking a place, a time or a cause, the definition means being moved from the object of the preposition ( ie;  the hour of trial ) to some other position. 

Since we are told that the Antichrist will be given power over the saints and he will overcome them, how is promise kept in a post tribulation view?

Rev 13:7  7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.

And my second question is simply What is the purpose of the tribulation, and how does the church going through the tribulation serve that purpose?
 

I find nothing to indicate a rapture of the dead and alive in Christ Jesus in revelation  20;4.
The following is the definition of soul.
In revelation 20;4....notice the words...Then I saw "SOULS"

Also notice that in revelation 20,....that only those on thrones and martyred are present,...and that the words...."and the rest of the dead lived not again until the 1000 years were finished,...which implies that a resurrection of the tribulation martyreds had just taken place in revelation 20;4

Well,....Today,the anti-christ or the false prophet cannot perform one miracle,or take center stage, until the Bride has been caught up out of this world!!!
He is no match for us today and absolutely would not be any match to a Bride who had just wittnessed a 7 year covenant confirmed between Israel and the anti-christ.
We know that the holy spirit is omnipresent and was present before the creation of the world.
The old testament saints,..where worthy of heaven when they had lived and died in faith.Their works followed them.King David cried out that the Holy Spirit would not be taken from him when he had committed adultery.Under the Mosiac Law,....if you committed one sin,...then it was like committing them all.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
The comforter is the Holy Spirit, but yet keep in mind that the Holy spirit is omnipresent.
This means that the Holy Spirit(Comforter)had a special task to do on earth!
And on the day of Pentecost,...The church age was born!
Each person who comes to the cross of calvary and ask's the Lord into their heart,...the Holy Spirit seals them with the promise.
And when the Comforter 's task is completed on this earth,...The Bride which hinders the revealing of the son of perdition,....is taken out of the way.
The church age will be over,the bride caught up into the air to meet the Lord.
The Holy spirit is still omnipresent,...and those who were left behind will have one of the greatest incentives the world has ever wittnessed to come to Christ Jesus...THE RAPTURE!.
But things will revert back to the way it was before the church age had began on the day of Pentecost.
The Lord makes it clear that during the Great Tribulation,the Martyred Tribulation Saints will be a multitude that no man could number. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit,
that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. 
There will be some trib saints that will survive the Great Tribulation.
They will be allowed into the millenium based on their works of faith.
 For just as the body without the spirit is dead,
so also faith without works is dead. ...
There will be a Sheep and Goat Judgement.
There are some who are looking for the anti-christ first,...meaning that their focus is not really on Jesus the Christ.
Instead some but not all, thrive on self and think that you can depend on their own self to survive the tribulation.Some think that they are going to make a big splash of popularity during the tribulation.They seem to think that it's all about them.Some think that they can prove to Jesus that by laying their life down as a martyred saint that they will have proven their self worthy.It's like they are saying to him,..."Hey, look at me!....It's as though they are saying that His grace is not sufficient enough for them.It's as though they are trying to earn their way into heaven, when all along the Lord had paid that price on the Cross of Calvary.Peter walked on the water with the Lord, but for a second, Peter took his eyes off of the Lord and saw those big tribulation waves, and fear came into his heart and when fear came, then came doubt, and then no faith, and then Peter sank.There are some that think that they can store up a lot of supplies to get them through the tribulation.But that is not what the Lord had intended and it shows what little faith that they have.

So maybe some will say,..."Well the Lord will keep us from the wrath during the tribulation.
I would not call the death of tribulation saints that no man could number, a scenerio of being protected.Obviously,the Lord  had the Bride in mind and not the tribulation saints.
Anyone reading this who has asked for discernment can see the true nature and what is in the Lords heart for His people.
Some claim that when the Lord descends on the earth at the end of the tribulation,...that the alive and the dead will receive immortal bodies.They will quote Matthew 24;31 and say;...The angels will gather us up to meet the Lord in the air.
Think about the following;...The Lord Jesus said;that we neither marry nor are we given in marriage in heaven and we will be like the angels!... ..ANGELS can travel at the speed of thought, fly here, fly there.What I am pointing out is we, the Bride, when we receive our immortal bodies will not need angels to catch us up to meet the Lord in the air! Only the Elect like Jews and trib saints who are still in their natural bodies will need angels to transport them.
 

Does your post trib rapture occur moments before the Lord's feet touches down on mount olivet to fight armageddon?
Or does your post trib rapture occur after armageddon, after the false prophet and anticrist are cast alive into the lake of fire?

 

The Saints of the Most High during Daniels 70th week are not the Bride,..but are those who came to Christ Jesus after the Pre-trib rapture had occurred.
The 24 elders represent the bride in heaven "BEFORE" Daniels 70th week begins.

The seperation of the Sheep and Goat Judgement are not the Bride but are those who survived Daniels 70th week after the pre-trib rapture had occurred.
These are judged by how they had treated their brother.
These are not saved by Grace,..but by their works of faith.
And besides,..if a rapture of all the dead and alive in Christ Jesus occurred moments before the Lord descended on Mount olivet,...then you have to explain why the Sheep and Goat Judgement even occurred at all, moments prior to the beginning of the Millennium....and then you have to explain why the dead in revelation 20;4 were not raptured too.
Only a pre-trib scenario fits the bill.


SOooo,...they were eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage.

So what were they drinking just prior to the Lord making His appearance?....The Answer of course would have to be ..."BLOOD!"
Maybe Some hard up guy will marry Susan who has a big pocket of puss on the tip of her nose,..not to mention the strong possibility of boils too extremely painful on their private parts?
The sun so hot that nothing electrical works like air conditioning...actually so hot that man is screaming blasphemies up at God.......Eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage,....."I THINK NOT!"
Only the Pre-trib scenario fits the bill.
There is no point in planting or tending to crops.
1. Rev 16:2 – The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his image.

The first plague is the outpouring of painful boils. Remember Job’s boils – huge, tender, inflamed, puss oozing sores – all over his body? These sores will befall every person who receives the mark of the beast. There are two great ironies here. First, many people will receive the mark of the beast thinking that they can avoid further suffering, but the first bowl inflicts a suffering on them that is beyond description! Everyone who worships "the devil and receives his mark" will receive the first bowl! There will be no escape from the first bowl. Painful boils will cause the wicked to writhe in relentless pain and this is the second irony. When the first bowl is poured out on the wicked, they will be engaged in an intense campaign to find and kill the few saints of God who remain alive. The first bowl painfully interrupts their plans. Evil men and women, covered with boils from head to foot will not be able to stand or sit, much less chase after a few saints who are hiding in remote places.

2. Rev 16:3 – The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead man, and every living thing in the sea died.

The second bowl is awesome. Every living thing in the oceans of the world dies. I can think of a three-fold possibility why God would pour out His wrath on the oceans of the world. First, the oceans are Earth’s source of fresh water. The Sun evaporates millions of square miles of ocean water each day. This sterile vapor rises and becomes clouds. Winds move the clouds over land and distilled water falls in the form of rain as condensation occurs. By turning the sea into a substance like the clotted blood of a dead man, there will be no more rain. Earth itself will die without this regular cycle of water. Earth is doomed, the stench of death and decay will be everywhere. Second, because a third of the trees and all of the green grass (including crops) were burned up during the first trumpet, seafood will likely become a main source of food during the Great Tribulation. If so, the destruction of everything that lives in the oceans means total famine. Again, life on this planet is doomed beyond recovery. Last, two-thirds of the world’s population lives near an ocean. When the wicked behold this awesome judgment, you would think that some will question the powers of their God. This silent plague speaks with deafening authority. It says, "The glorious and majestic being which you worship is not God. He can not protect you. He can not prevent the destruction of Earth."

3. Rev 16:4 – The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say: ‘You are just in these judgments, you who are and who were, the Holy One, because you have so judged; for they have shed the blood of your saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.’ And I heard the altar respond: ‘Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are your judgments.’

The third bowl will force people having the mark of the beast into a sickly spiral that ultimately leads to an agonizing death. There will be no recovery from this plague. Human beings cannot go very long without water. Everywhere the wicked look for water, but find blood instead. Picture this if you can. Millions of thirst-driven people drinking blood in order to survive! It’s a repugnant thought, but it is a true picture. Helpless people will turn to their God, the Antichrist, for miraculous help, but none will come. Lucifer will be powerless to turn the blood into water. Jesus will not have mercy upon these demon possessed people. Every wicked person was given a lengthy chance to know God’s will and worship Him. However, they willfully aligned themselves with the forces of evil; therefore, they must suffer the consequence. The angel that delivers this horrible judgment declares God to be fair for giving blood-thirsty people blood to drink! Even the martyred souls under the altar agree saying, "True and just are your judgments." (Of course, martyred souls don’t actually talk, but personification allows their innocent blood to cry out for justice as did Abel’s blood. Genesis 4:10)

4. Rev 16:8,9 –The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him."

The misery index is climbing fast and the wicked people on Earth are struggling in a great quandary. Why doesn’t our God (actually, the Antichrist) stop this? They reason, "Our God can do anything! He even called fire down from the sky, therefore, he must immediately stop these awful judgments!" Then, the fourth bowl is poured out. Is it possible that the fourth bowl will be caused by a catastrophic solar flare from the Sun or perhaps a very brilliant gamma-ray burst coming from the direction of the Sun? Either way, the net effect is intense, searing heat. Think about this plague for a moment. If the ambient temperature stays above 150 degrees for several days, what would be the effect? There will be no electricity on Earth at this time since Earth was badly broken up when the seventh trumpet occurred. (Revelation 11:19) So, there will be no mechanical relief from the heat. Furthermore, all of the oceans and rivers smell like blood. Billions of dead sea creatures have washed up on the shores. There is no water to drink, only blood which smells so badly it causes people to vomit.

I believe that Damascus Syria will be destroyed the same time as when Psalms 83 occurs.

It just so happens that these nations make up the land that is promised to Abrahams descendants,...this will consist of a small slice of Egypt,....All of Lebanon,...all of Syria.....Northern Iraq..... 1/3rd of Saudi Arabia....and all of Jordan(This explains the flight to petra and the mountainous region, when Israel flees in the A.O.D.)
(The Daniel 11 prophecy has it that Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand,while on the other hand we see that Edom, Moab and Ammon are involved in the fight against Israel,rather than being delivered by his hand.)

3. They meet Muslim/“Arab” resistance (Jer 49:16; Zeph 2:8; Ezek

4. Israel establishes an army for defense—see also #10 (Ezek 36:6,7;
38:.
5. Adjacent Muslim nations Confederate (Ps 83:1-8).
6. The Confederacy is committed to the destruction of Israel (Ps

7. War starts between the Confederacy and Israel (Jer 49:2, 8, 19).
8. Title regained: “My people Israel” (Hos 1:8-10; Rom 9:25,26;

This, then, would seem to set the stage for the subsequent events of Ezekiel 38 and 39. If this view is correct, there may be a huge surprise ready to unfold that will totally restructure the Middle East!
The purpose of the Russian invasion is to take the spoil; the purpose of the Armageddon Campaign is to destroy the Jews.
The Lord calls for assistance in executing judgment on Gog (Eze. 38:21), while at Armageddon He is viewed as treading the winepress alone (Isa. 63:3-6).
Joel 2 is describing the Ezekiel 28 invasion.
Joel 3 is describing the Armageddon campaign.
The Hebrew words utilized for the Magog invaders goal to capture great spoil are, shalal gadol shalal. According to the definitions given in the New America Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries, these words can be translated successively to read, “Plunder the great spoil of the despoilers.” Despoil means to deprive someone of something valuable by force. (ii)
It suggests that the invaders are coming to plunder the spoils Israel previously captured from another. Along these lines, the widely respected eschatologist, Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum, teaches that the Magog invaders are coming to, “To take a spoil of a spoil.”
In the prior verse, Ezekiel 38:12, the prophet says the Magog invaders are coming after acquired, or gotten, cattle and goods. The Hebrew word is “asah” and suggests that Israel has acquired livestock and commercial goods externally, perhaps more so than developed them from their own natural resources and / or commercial endeavors.
If the enticing great spoil spoken of is acquired, more so than homegrown, then where does it originate? Zechariah 14:14 appears to hold an important clue in this regard. Apparently Israel acquires it from the Arab nations round about them.
“And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the (Arab) nations round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. (Zechariah 14:14, ASV; emphasis added)
In the Joel 3 prophecy,.....1“In those days and at that time,
when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,
2I will gather all nations
and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.a
There I will enter into judgment against them
concerning my inheritance, my people Israel,
for they scattered my people among the nations
and divided up my land.
The 7 year covenant that is to be confirmed has nothing to do with any agreement with the arabs,..since it is that all of Israels immediate inner ring neighbors will be destroyed by Israel(any day now)and the Lord destroys Russia and the outter ring of muslim nations slightly prior to the beginning of Daniels 70th week.
Obviously,....Joel 3 indicates that when the antichrist invaded the Holy City at the A.O.D.,...that he also redistributed the land among the arabs,..this would explain Daniel 11 prophecy.

Very shortly Israel is about to become the wealthiest nation on the earth as a result of the coming Psalms 83/Isaiah 17;1 war while all the other nations of the world will be in an economic crisses.
At this moment the E.U. is wanting Israel to come under it's umbrella,....a time is coming after the Ezekiel 38 battle that Israel will do exactly that,..and then Israel will have to adhere their laws with the E.U.Laws(Ten kings)
You see,...When the Lord was cruxified,.....The Sanhedrine was present and the temple and the mosiac law was active,....and Israel was under Roman Empire's umbrella of power.
We are coming again towards full circle......Today the Sanhedrin is back,....everything is ready for a third temple including the robes for the priests.
The E. U. desires Israel to come under it's umbrella of power.
The first 69 weeks was without the Bride and when the Lord was Cruxified,..it was as though time froze,...in which the clock will begin to tick off the last 7 years, when the "Fullness of the Gentiles" is complete.
The General time era of the rapture will occur sometime between now and shortly after the coming Psalms 83/Isaiah 17;1 war,..in which will result in Israel gaining much land,...and will carelessly believe that they are at peace,...this is a requirement for Ezekiel 38 which activates the Day of the Lord.

One day I was on this offshore oil rig,witnessing to two men from San Salvador in my room.
One was an old man,..the other was about 19 years of age.
I was telling them that Jesus was coming back and because I perceived that their ability to understand was limited,..I chose to explain His coming for the Bride in a basic way.They had told me that they were Catholic,..and were full of questions to my delight.
At one point,..the old man left,..and I continued to tell about some signs of the Lords return,...when I heard in my mind the Lord talking to me,....He said......Benny ask Him....and even though I am talking to the young man,..I answered the Lord and said,..Lord,..he said he was Catholic,........And again the Lord spoke to me,..but said this more firmly.....Benny ask him!
So I did,...I said to the young man,......Have you ever invited the Lord Jesus the Christ into your heart to forgive your sins and be your Lord and Savior?
The young man answered..........No............................The Lord knew something that I didn't,..I had assumed that he was a christian and saved because he had earlier told me he was Catholic.

Well,..I asked the young man if he would like to ask the Lord into his heart,....and he said yes.
So I told him how to pray in asking the Lord into his heart,..and the young man said,.......Well before I go to sleep at night,..I will ask the Lord into my heart.
So the next morning,..we were getting our sand blasting and paint equipment ready for the days work,.....the compressors had not been turn on yet and it was still quiet,..the morning sun was attempting to loom into the earliy morning night,..there were rednecks all around me when I looked at the young man and said,.....Well did you do it?
And the young man said,..what?
And I said ...what we talked about last night.
And the young man said,...Oh yes! I asked the Lord Jesus into my heart last night beside my bed before I went to sleep!

And immediately I point my finger at him and said in a very loud voice,...."Praise the Lord,..when the rapture happens,..Your going!

What happened next,..I never saw it coming nor expected it,..but It happened!
It was like I had been struck by a bolt of lightning that hit me at the top of my head and shot down to the bottom of my feet in one huge tremendous energy surge!
This happened the very split atomic second that I said ,...."Praise the Lord,..when the rapture happens,..Your going!
It was not one of those situations where you are thinking..."Do i just think this happened,..No!..you knew it happened!!!

A week later,..I went home and told my brother n law what had happened,..and he said,...Benny Ray,...that was the Holy Spirit,..and that is His way of saying to you,..DO it AGAIN!

A few years ago,..I had just come in from church and I went to my bedroom and began prayingand just talking to the Lord like a friend,..after awhile I began to praise him with lifted hands,..and then I just became silient,..getting everything out of my head.
After awhile,..the Lord spoke to me in a very quite voice, like a small whisper,..and He said,....."Go see your dad"
And I thought to myself..."Ok I 'll tell him that I love him"
But I waited 3 days before I left to go see him. It had bee a couple years since I had last seen him and I was not certain which street he lived on.
But as I was in the neighborhood,..the Holy Spirit was all over me,..electricity all over me.
But I found his home, and there he was in the back using a post hole digger, setting up a fence for his beloved dog.
Well I talked to him for a few minutes,straining not to mention the Lord to him....and then he said to me.."Benny Ray..you want to come in the house with me?"
And I replied,.."Sure Dad,..I'll go in the house with you."
Well unknown to me,..My dads wife's daughter was there visiting from California.I sat on the big couch and I began to talk to her.
Well,...anyone who knows me knows that I cannot keep my mouth shut about Jesus and somehow, someway I'm gonna find a way to start a conversation about Him and His coming back to take us home.
She listened to me, and even responded in a nice and polite negetive way.
And My Dad said,...All right benny Ray,..we do not want to hear any preaching.
And I said,..Ok Dad.
About that time,..My dad said,..Benny ray,..you want to eat some pizza with us?
And I said,..Sure Dad I'll eat some pizza with you.
So I went into the kitchen,..and My dads wife sat on one end of the table(Table was up against the wall) and her daughter sat on the other end,...And I thought to myself,..I think i'll just sit right in the middle of them both!
Well here we were eating pizza, and my dad was pacing back and forth behind me,..and I was smiling to myself because I knew the reason why that he was pacing back and forth behind me was because he was gonna make sure that I did not talk about Jesus,..I knew my dad very well.
Well a few minutes later ,..my dads wife got up from the table and before she left,..she was behind me,..and her daughter, I could see was looking up above my head and I knew that My dads wife was taking her finger twirling and pointing it towards her head,to indicate to her daughter that I was sick in the head.I was smiling on the inside,..but you could sense the spirit of dread coming from them.
Anyway about that time,..My dad said,...Benny Ray,..you want to go to the store with me?
I said yes,..But I knew he was really trying to make sure that I would not talk about Jesus while he was gone and smiling I said ...sure dad,..I'll go to the store with with.
Well off we went in his old white pickup truck,...it was misting outside and his wind shield wipers did not work,..and yet he managed to drive straight.
About half way to the store I said,...Dad,..when did your wifes daughter get here from California?
He said,....."THREE DAYS AGO".......And it was immediately that I realized why the Lord told me to go see your dad.
When she came in from California,..that was when the Lord told me to go see him.
When we return to his house,..the daughter was still sitting at the table and I sat down with her.
And you know the drill!...Yes,..my dad was again pacing back and forth making sure that I did not talk about Jesus,...well Being that she was from California and How I have a great interest in prospecting for gold with a metal detector,...I asked about the area that she lived in,..and that was what the conversation mainly consisted about.
Well my dad decided to go outside,..And I looked at the daughter,..and said,......"I will probally not ever get to meet you again in this lifetime.
Do you mind if I tell you a story that you will never forget for the rest of your life?
And she agreed to hear my story.
I explained the Gospel to her in such a way as she had never heard it explained in this way before, but it really opens up ones eyes!,..and I explained to Her who the Lord had told me to go see my dad and about the time she had flew in from California.

Tears were flowing down this hard core womans face behind her glasses,..and I knew the Holy Spirit was working on her.
With that,......I got up and Shook her hand and told her that Jesus loves her,..and about that time,..My dad and his wife came in from outside,..and I walked up to both of them and told them that I loved them,..and as I was driving away in my car,..I could see all three of them in my rearview mirror looking staring at me,..and I smiled from ear to ear,.because I had just saw the hand of God move on my dads wife's daughter.

Without faith,..it is impossible to please God.

About what happenned to me 33 years ago.
My father n law told me about being born again,..and I had no idea what this man was talking about!LOL
He said,..when it hits you,..you will know it!
Well it did hit me,..I couldn't keep my big mouth shut about jesus,..It was like I always had ants in my pants,..I could never keep still about Jesus and to this very day I still cannot shut up.
Some people thought I was sick in the head especially the old timers.
I lost more friends that I could count!
There were even some people who would act like they were christians too,..that is,..until they realized that your whole life is about Jesus,..some would even begin breathing fast,...some would be looking at their watch,..or twirling their fingers,...they were looking for the first excuse and the nearest exit to get away from you as fast as they could.
I Learned and realized that I could talk about any topic under the sun and it was no problem,..but When I said that Name...JESUS!....there is no name in heaven and earth that can effect a man in this way except that one name....Jesus!

When Jesus told that man not to tell nobody that He had just healed him,...and what was the first thing the man did?...He went and blabbed his mouth off to everybody!
Once you got Jesus in you,..you cannot keep your mouth shut!...Praise God!...Jesus is Lord!

,.....Once a person is truely born again,..that person cannot lose their salvation period!
Now they can back slide,..but they cannot lose their salvation,..for we are saved by Grace.
That only leaves one other possibility.....................one can only be considered falling away if they had believed in God,....even the devils believe that Jesus is Lord and they tremble.
These believe, but have never committed,...just because you say that you are a christian does not mean that you are a true christian. Some people run up to the altar and ask the Lord into their heart from the spur of an emotional moment, and the next day there was not one once of change evidenced to be seen,...you shall know them by their fruit.
Obama claims to be a christian,..but claims that that Jesus is not the only way to heaven.
Matthew 13;
20The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away

There are many who use the title christian,..but when I talk about Jesus,..they start looking for the nearest exist once they realize I'm the real deal.

I tell you,..there will not be a falling away in Daniels 70th week.
A multude that no man could number will die for their faith in Christ Jesus during Daniels 70th week.

"Distinction between Day of the Lord and Great and Terrible Day of the Lord"

It occurs just slightly prior to the beginning of Daniels 70th week.
The Day of the Lord begins with ezekial 38;18-20 which matches perfectly with Revelation 6;14-17 and Isaiah 2;19, and Joel 2
Actually it is this prophecy of every mountain and wall shall fall to the ground, that results in the dome of the rock being destroyed and the third temple is built.
Considering that Israel's immediate(inner ring) arab neighbors were defeated (Isaiah 17;1/Psalms 83) and the Lord of all creation had wiped out Israels enemies in the Ezekial; 38 prophecy(outter ring),...logic dictates that there would not be any islamic nations to object to Israel in building a third temple.
When the Great and terrible Day of the Lord begins,...it begins when the A.O.D. begins. Anytime there is a word change of description, there is a reason for it.The Lord even made a distinction of the first and second half of Daniels 70th week by calling the second half "The Great Tribulation"
In the first half of Daniels 70th week, the Great multitude, the two witnesses and the 144,000 will be able to witness and bring many to the Lord in the first half "UNOBSTRUCTED"(The multitude,two witnesses, and 144,000 are all classified as "Saints")
The reason for this is because permission to war and prevail against the saints is not granted to the beast until the A.O.D. begins and the Beast is also granted to continue for 42 months Revelation 13;5-7.
Malachi 4:5 is clear that the Lord will send Elijah........"before"......... the Great and terrible Day of the Lord. Therefore the two witnesses begin their ministry in the first half of Daniels 70th week.
I Believe Enoch and Elijah will die their death as it is appointed for man to die once (O.T.Saints before the Cross) ,....when the A.O.D. begins.(Take notice that it was at the midpoint of Daniels 70 week that the Beast, Rev 13;5-7)is granted to prevail and not before.

The Day of the Lord begins with Ezekial 38;18-20,Revelation 6;14-17, Isaiah 2;19, and Joel 2......and it continues until the A.O.D. begins.
When the A.O.D. begins that is when the Great Tribulation begins also known as The Great and terrible Day of the lord.("Before" meaning as in the first half of Daniels 70th week).

Before Ezekial 38 can come to pass,..a time of normal life must be present such as marrying and giving in marriage and drinking , as in the days of Noah. Ezekial 38 describes Israel dwelling in safety and not expecting an attack, for that matter the world was even surprise that this attack to place as is described in Ezekial 38.(Ezekiel 38;11-14)

It is the Prophecy of Isaiah 17;1/Psalms 83 combo that results in Israel in belleving she is dwelling safely. Israel will gain more territory from her immediate arab neighbors in keeping with the promise of a certain amount of land promised to Abraham's descendents by the Lord.
So in a nutshell,..Even though technically, the rapture can happen any moment,..it is my opinion that it will occur just slightly prior to Ezekial 38.
The Ancient Jewish wedding as a shadow type, suggests that the Bride will only be in heaven for 7 years and then the lord will return in His physical second return to rule and reign for a thousand years.

So it is believed that the beginning of the generation that would not pass away until all these things came to pass, which includes the A.O.D. and the Second Physical coming of the Lord, began with the birth of Israel as a nation in May 14,1948.
So the question is asked,.."How long is a generation"?
Psalms 90;10 indicates that it is 70 years but could be as long as 80 years.
But we have sign post's along the way.and the Lord made it clear that the Bride would not be cought by surprise, that we would perceive the general time era of when we would be caught up to meet the Lord in the air(1 Thessalonians 5;4)

It is very obvious today that Isaiah 17;1/Psalms 83 prophecy could happen any day.

Zechariah 12:10
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

but the following occurs prior to the above scripture

For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'"Matthew 23:39

By this,..it seems that the physical second return of our Lord at the end of Daniels 70th week is dependant upon the Jewish race stating..." Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord"

This act in itself, distinguishes between the Bride and the Jewish race....Just as the following scripture does the same in distinguishing between the two.

Romans 11:25-26
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Again the Following distinguishes between the Bride and the Jewish Race
Daniel 9:24
Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.
Notice that it states...."for your people".........This is referring to Danels people who are jews.
The first 69 weeks(483 years) was without the Bride,...the Last week is for daniels people and too shall be without the presence of the Bride.

The Differences of Ezekiel 38 battle from the Armageddon war are as follows:
1.The Valley of Hamon-Gog is located east of the Dead Sea....The valley of Megiddo is located to the exteme northwest of the dead sea near Lebanon.
2.The armies in Ezekiel 38 are limited in number,and Sheba, Dedan and the merchants of Tarish are not involved in the attack........the armageddon war consists of all the kings of the earth.
3.Gog is killed and buried in Ezekiel 38-39...and the antichrist involved in armageddon is captured and thrown alive into the lake of fire.
4.In the Ezekiel 38-39 battle all but 1/6th of the invading army are destroyed...in the Armageddon war...All the invaders are destroyed none left alive.
5.In the Ezekiel 38 battle,..the invasion occurs when Israel in dwelling in safety and her walls defenced.....in the Armageddon war, Israel is hiding from the antichrist and not living in safety.
6.The armies of Ezekiel 38 never reach Jerusalem,..and the Armies of Armageddon do reach Jerusalem.
This also reveals that Gog is not the antichrist
