Okay, what is a double dutch?? Huh Huh Huh

Double dutch is when they have two jump ropes going in opposite directions at once.  I'm lucky if I can do one jump rope at a time with out falling on my face.

I know where that is. I was in that neighborhood about a month ago. It looks like they have come a long way on that building.

It is such a satisfying experience working with kids, isn't it?

Hey, that's cool.

The children were trying to teach me how to play double dutch and were singing different songs.  I watched for the double dutch I was afraid that I was going to fall on my face.

The building is going to be a mission.  Three churches are working together on it.  I guess over there they have money exchange places to pay their bills and they get charged for that, so this mission will provide computers so they don't have to pay extra paying bills.  Then the churches can use the middle room for sermons and there is going to be a cafe' and some sort of children's ministery.

I got my pictures developed that I took when I was in Chicago.  I thought that this one was cute.  It was of the kids that we played with and in the background is the building that we were working on.  If you guys ever wondered what I look like, here it is:

Hi dudes,  I'm back.  I had a very good time.  We worked on a mission building that will be for children and adults.  We passed out papers for the church and also joined in a place called The Bridge that has fellowship for people that just got out of jail.  It was a very good experience and it has nice just to go and talk freely about God to people and just to have fellowship.

Night, night.

I won't be on for a couple of days.  I'm going on a mission trip to Chicago.  I'm excited and nervous.  I never been on a mission trip before.  Please pray that everything goes good.  I think that I am going to go to bed too.  I have to get up in 5 hours.

40  Entertainment / Television / Re: WHAT IS THE LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED? on: August 19, 2006, 01:15:18 AM
It is rated PG-13 and the Passion of The Christ is rated R.  I don't think that that was fair.

The last movie I saw at the theatre was "World Trade Center".  It was very very hard to watch.

That reminds me of a story I have to tell you guys.  My sisters were on the internet and talking to friends.  For some odd reason they thought that it would be cool to make wine.  So about a month ago they swiped a cooler and a big pickle jar.  They put grapes, water and yeast in the container.  Well after about a month of this stuff fermenting I was unaware and looking for a cat toy and was digging in my sister's toy chest.  I found a cooler and opened it and an awful stench filled the room.  I woke up my parents and they asked my sister what they were making.  My sister said that they were making wine and wanted my parents to try some.  My sisters are always coming up with stupid ideas.

If the girls can't wear the rings, then the sikh, and muslims, shouldn't wear the bangle or the headcovering.

I agree!

I love this song too.

JEREMY CAMP LYRICS

"This Man"

In only a moment truth
Was seen revealed this mystery
The crown that showed no dignity he wore
And the king was placed for all the world
To show disgrace but only beauty flowed from this place

Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands
Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands

He held the weight of impurity
The father would not see
The reasons had finally come to be to
Show the depth of his grace flowed with
Every sin erased he knew that this was
Why he came

Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands
Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands

And we just don't know the blood and
Water flowed and in it all
He showes just how much he cares
And the veil was torn so we could have
This open door and all these things have
Finally been complete

Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands
Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands
From his hands
From his hands
From his hands
From his hands
From his hands
